It saddens me to have to resort to writing a negative review of a business like this, but here we are. I initially had a great experience a year ago when I was facing chemo treatments and hair loss, and scheduled an appointment to pick a wig. Kim was very helpful. I did however have concerns over the price of the wig if my insurance would not cover it. I was advised they would look into it before I picked up my wig. Three weeks later they told me my wig was in and to come pick it up. When I was there, I again repeated that I did not want to leave with the wig if my insurance would not pay for it. The person who checked me out that day said they didn’t handle billing, but assured me it would be taken care of. A couple weeks later I saw a denial letter from my insurance. I called Perfect Balance and my insurance and told PB exactly what my insurance company told me was needed by them to have it approved. I never saw another claim denial nor a bill from Perfect Balance. I never received a phone call or email - I assumed it was handled. Then, almost a year after I picked up my wig, I received a notice from Perfect Balance that they were sending me to collections!! No contact for almost a year and then a threatening letter sending me to collections?? Unreal. I called Perfect Balance immediately and got their answering machine. I will admit I was very worked up and I was very angry in my message. But I still deserved a call back. 5 days later with no return call, I called again and had to leave a message. It has now been nearly a month and no one had responded to me. This is a very disappointing and frustrating experience and I hope no one else is ever treated this way. Read moreWow! I don't even know where to start. Kim is such a fantastic person! As soon as my mom and I stepped in the front door we were welcomed. Kim was so helpful and patient throughout the whole wig decision process. We must have tried on about 10 different wigs and spent over an hour making up our minds. A few weeks later my Mother-in-law and I showed up and I got to try on my new wig! It fit and looked great. Kim then made sure I had all the other necessary tools needed to keep it looking great- a brush, shampoo, etc. She even did the work of seeing if insurance would cover the cost of the wig- which they did! I highly recommend going to Kim's boutique! You won't be disappointed.

Read moreI had a wonderful experience at Perfect Balance Boutique. Kim, the owner, was very personable, helpful, knowledgeable and just great! I was fitted with a shaper. There were many bras to choose from. Kim took the time to make sure each bra was a proper fit for me. It’s been 17 ½ years since my breast cancer diagnosis, mastectomy, tram flap reconstruction, chemo and radiation.
