Luzerne County Fair — Local services in Lehman Township

The pictures are from the annual Trunk or Treat held Halloween night at the Luzerne County Fairgrounds. As you can see the fairgrounds or multi-purpose, they've had concerts there, Trunk or Treat, car shows Etc. The fair is the place to see or be seen, what I really enjoy about the Luzerne County Fair is that it's local, it showcases local 4-H clubs, and it's easily accessible. Because it is in a rural area I would suggest a light jacket or sweatshirt as temperatures drop quickly in this area, it is actually colder than the Valley cities. This is one place where you can get a muddy or nutty Pig - it is a thick-cut strip of bacon dipped in either chocolate or peanut butter. This was the first place I ever saw them, at $4 a piece they were a tad pricey but the taste was worth every penny. So come and enjoy yourself, and have a little bit of country cooking while you enjoy the fair, or the car show, or the Trunk or Treat which is held Halloween night and all children...

Love the fair. It's not the biggest fair in the world but alot of fun for adults and children. They ofcourse have rides. A ton of concession stands. But they also have a boat load of animals you can visit and feed. From a horse to a pig they have mostly everything plus they show you all the trofies and awards all the animals win for best in class etc. There names it's really nest for the kids. This is my 3rd year going. They also have live bands variety of music for everyone all ages. They have little shows they put on with motorcycles and mountain bike shows. Just a really fun time. Unfortunately we went on the 2nd to last day unfortunately it rained so bad they had to evacuate the animals the water was Over a foot high. It was absolutely crazy but the staff did a amazing job getting those animals to safety so they didn't hurt,! 10...

Alway a wonderful time at the fair.my kids love the rides and my wife and I go for both the food and overall great atmosphere oh and did I mention the food. I love the London broil sandwich vendor and of course it would be a sin not to get a roasted ear of corn or two or five plus I don't know if it's legal to go to the fair and not get a gyro plus you really don't want to be tempting fate and not get funnel cake oh I almost forgot about Karma stepping in because you didn't bother to try chocolate covered bacon and of course they've made it completely taboo if you don't try something like ostrich or alligator or even the fried oreos.
