Dollar General — Local services in Dallas Township

An employee that is/was friends of the family was very rude twice by telling my 9 yr old granddaughter to move aside due to her making a few mistakes and getting behind with over 7 more customers in libe.The point is my g-daughter nor I did anything to make her nervous and we both were very understanding as we're neighbors so used to be very close.The people in line seemed nice and understanding also, as we all at one time or another were in training somewhere.Now , we have been shunned by the girls mother and so this incifent came home with us which upset my g-daughter very very much.Especially since her daddy had just passed away from cancer so she was in a very vulnerable state.We did nothing and of course took no action.To be honest the woman training her most certainly should have come to open other register and help the new girl..Love DG, but unless a quick stop..I now drive from 8 to 15 miles further to avoid the treatment as that was mot the 1st time.Tho the manager is always courteous and...

This store on Memorial Hwy. is my favorite out of all the local DG's. I'm about the same distance from this store and the one in Pike's Creek and I'll choose Dallas every time unless they don't have something l need.

The staff is awesome, and I've always been greeted warmly. If l have to ask about availability of a product over the phone, I'm never had an issue. They're always glad to check for me, even though I'm sure they're busy.

Not trying to be rude but I went in there on june 26th and I hate to say anything negative but that store was a disaster and no they weren't in the middle of stocking shelves..employees need to organize the shelves better and pick items up off the floor!
