Jumpin Jacks Truck Stop — Local services in Lewisport

Lots of parking, has showers, and food. Friendly staff they are not. Sure a hello, last night I was told "oh, you poor truck drivers, you have no one at home who cares about you, how sad" What! We are out here busting our behinds away from Loved ones to give them a better opportunity in life. We sacrifice for family and loved ones and it's hard on everyone. What a jerk thing to say and just what I want to hear at the end of my day. Burger last night was horrible. Can't believe someone would even sell it. This morning biscuit has microwaved sausage and over cooked egg. That I ate before writing this review, so don't have a pic. Staff this morning hardly acknowledged I was there and didn't once look directly at me. I said thank you and just got a "yup" and had to ask for a bag, even though it's raining outside.

It appeared to me as a semi driver, I was more of a nuisance to staff...

Would NOT recommend this truck stop to anyone. The second shift cashiers on 2/27/24 are rude and will lie to make things appear different. They claimed that no truck stop provides towels when you purchase a shower. I wanted a shower so I purchased one and had to go back to my trk to find a towel. As I was exiting the building I was on the phone complaint to my sister about their lies. When I come back in to get my shower they gave me my money back and said they can choose who they serve and were refusing me service because they claim I cussed them out. No way I could cuss them out when I was over 100 feet away walking away and...

Not the worst pretty rinky dink place though. The employees are kind, but come on, closing hours earlier than your written hours makes it so that truckers can’t use the restroom when it said they’d be available. We already have to plan out stuff most normal people don’t think about and closing early without notice really negatively affects that. I understand y’all have your needs too and I wish safety for your employees, but it is frustrating almost busting your butt on the slick unplowed driveway to the store only to find out it’s closed hours earlier...
