Davis' Clothing - Davis Dry Goods — Local services in Lexington

Bought some shoes here a year or so ago, so went back for more... First off, the entire staff working was about as far from friendly as you can get. No one spoke when I came in. Last time in the store a older gentleman helped me and had all the answers, plus was very eager to help find the right shoe for me. This time it was a young man, or kid ??, that could care less. He did come over to me, but he walked off twice, then puffed as he walked back when I asked another question. They were apparently out of my size shoe, but he never went to look? I asked if they would be getting some in... no real answer. I asked if he could recommend something else: no, not really. I was in the store for about 20 minutes before leaving... the shoes I was looking at cost over $100. I guess they don't need the customers.

The really sad part is that I purchased a $100 gift card for davis at a local fundraiser, based on the service I got a year ago... Not really sure what I'm going to do with it. Also, my wife warned me about the "friendly" staff from when she went in a couple weeks ago with our son, but I didn't listen. They left, pretty much for the same reason I did. And, for the record, they spent almost $300 in the store they went to that could...

Stopped by while driving back home from Alabama to Paducah, KY. They were so sweet! Everyone that worked there was so helpful & kind hearted. Just saw the store by all the gorgeous Christmas decorations, & by looking in the windows before parking & seeing a VERY clean & well kept store. I knew this would be the perfect place to stretch my legs after riding in the car for several hours. They have a great selection of clothing! Name brands that...

I purchased a pair of Ariat boots that were regular $224.99 and the store had them on sale due to this brand discontinuing, I noticed that the leather was cracking on one boot a day later, I came back to the store to see if I could exchange them for another pair or they could order another and I was told that there’s nothing they can do about it, all they could say was that they were sorry…I work hard for my money and don’t like...
