Saxton Market — Local services in Liberty Township

I have to be honest .Saxton market is a disgusting place.It may be a nice place to visit if you are white.,But if you are African decent or white with children of African decent.this place is very ugly. My husband and I moved our family to Saxton PA to get away from the crime and drugs.What a mistake. Shopped at Saxton market only a couple of times. ,But a couple of times was to many .My wife and children discriminated against both times by the women in the Delly as well as the cashier's. It was really sad .We had gone there a few times before hand with out our children on vacation.And everyone was very friendly.But as soon as we moved there ,and they seen our children were African decent The people there got very ugly. My children were very hurt by the way they were treated. It is ashame that people exspesaly children are still judged by the coler of their skin.instead of who they are...

We first shopped here on our trip to Raystown Lake being it was the closest to us. For a small town grocery store me and my wife absolutely love this place. We drive 1.5 hours just to buy our meats. The selection is amazing. And always fresh. Thick steaks and chops. Great chicken and the prices are absolutely more than affordable. My last couple trips they seemed to have 16oz bottled sodas 2 for $1.00. Not sure if this is regular but I definitely stocked up there. I like the store made subs, spices and sauces as well. A great variety of store made products to choose from. Always good specials on just about everything in the store. Staff is fabulous and friendly. Even still have baggers and they offer to help you load it in your car. That's true customer service. We will continue to make the commute. ...

good local grocery store, great customer service never any long lines and always someone avaialbe to help load your car, they offer gas price discounts, they have a great bakery the best donuts ive ever had a good produce section, and deli, wonderful fired chicken also. the negatives are there is a limited selection of many items here as it is not a huge store, also prices on many items are higher...
