Original Italian Pizza — Restaurant in Saxton

The food was acceptable . I ordered 3 large pizzas that were too large for the box they attempted to cram them in, ok not the worst problem to have. The steak sandwich was an OIP special that was made earlier than the rest of the food which made it pretty soggy but still good enough to eat on an empty stomach. The Sicilian was very thick, didn’t have a crispy bottom but it mainly fed children anyway. The cheese sticks were a little oil logged. The wings and garlic knots were the highlight of the meal and were both pleasantly very delicious. The service equally was acceptable upon pick up. However, please use caution when clicking on the menu from Google. The prices listed are very inaccurate. In this new financial world I guess it is my fault for not thinking better about it. As I returned to the restaurant to inquire about the amount I felt I was inaccurately charged, I was met with unfriendly service only an owner that couldn’t care less about the mistake and offered no apology just a simple “ that’s not our menu”. So if you are aware of the prices then order the food. Just do not base your ordering on the menu that is linked...

Absolutely worst OIP I have ever been to. I typically will not complain, but I feel like people need to know about the horrendous service that we received today. Ordered 3 subs that came on overcooked dry bread, so hard it hurt your mouth to try and bite into it.. We called and we're told that everyone always has something to complain about (Here's your sign, if everyone is complaining you may just be the problem.) Then we're told to bring the bad subs back, as if we were just trying to get free food. Drove back for the new subs, the guy opened them and looked at them, gave us our new subs and threw the others across the counter for the other worker to throw them away. The bread is lighter in color but still dry, likely not fresh bread. Subs were filled with vegetable heels. I understand this can happen from time to time but I had 3 on my sub alone which tells me they did it intentionally. Real nice, luckily I am not in Saxton frequently and will never have to eat here again, but like I said people should know. This is definitely a scrumptious stop and a must for every visit! The taste, texture, and smell of each item we ordered provided an experience that tantalized our taste, smell, and sight. The Stromboli had a crunchy outer layer that lead to a soft flavorful center. The chicken alfredo was sublime. The garlic knots were soft and fresh with the perfect amount of spices. On top of this delectable array, we had fresh, homemade bread that reminded me of my grandmother's (who made loaves upon loaves that everyone craved).
