I first called Emsuds on Saturday and asked when I'd be able to come in with my groomsmen. Someone else answered the phone letting me know they didn't know when they would be available and handed the phone to Alma. Alma didn't even say hello, however, I could hear her conversation with another customer. 5 minutes later, she answered 'Hello, how can I help you?' and did not even apologize for making me wait. As a professional in hospitality, she should have answered right away 'Hello, I apologize, I have someone in front of me, May you please hold?' and I would have of course held on. Then, we come in and she made me and my fiance sit down and go over the 'rules and regulations' of working with her at Emsuds. I let her know right away that I did NOT need to know these because we were JUST LOOKING. As we were sitting down, multiple people came up to her wanting her attention and of course, she got up to deal with the other customers instead of stating she was in the middle with us. She made us feel EXTREMELY unwelcome and unwanted. I, then, got up to look at their selection just to see if this was anything we would even want. After she came back from dealing with her other customers she stated 'please sit back down and let me finish my schpeal.' I let her know I did not have time and to please show me her selection. Their lightest grey suit that they had was a dark charcoal and not what I was looking for so I let her know. She insisted she continued to go over her rules, and insisted upon still measuring my groomsmen. This was absolutely ridiculous knowing we were not going to go with them- I felt as though she just was trying to be dominant. You should never sit someone down telling them the 'regulations' before even seeing the product, expecially if your customer lets you know they just wanted to look first to see if it's even something they're interested in. Does anyone go into a car dealership going over a contract before even seeing the cars? I was SO FRUSTRATED with her. She made sure to let me know that she 'won the best choice for tux shop in The Knot and there was a reason' multiple times. She may be organized but NOT hospitable what so ever. Would...

This is the best clothing store experience I have ever had. I dread shopping, especially for clothes. I needed a new suit to freshen up my style and for some formal occasions coming up. I came in with my 3 yo daughter and he immediately chatted with her and made us feel like we were guests in someone's home. He attentively showed me suits that would fit my wishes and needs. He expertly helped me find a suit that was high in quality and extremely reasonable in price. He then helped my daughter pick out a "present" for my wife, in which he threw in for free. Unexpected and so sweet. This place is the epitome of what any store should strive to be. The service, quality and product can not be matched. I have found a clothier for life. My husband and I went shopping for suit recently, and decided to give Emsud's a look since it's close to our neighborhood. The only way we could have possibly been more pleased is if the suit was free. Emsud's is a family-owned and operated formal clothing store, with an emphasis on men's formalwear. Emsud is a great man, and is passionate about making sure you leave his store pleased. He said to me you are the boss, whatever you want. The whole experience of purchasing a suit from this family business was superb, a clear image of professionalism and integrity. He did some alterations on my husband's suit pants that he purchased and had them ready in a day and a half. Emsud is one of the nicest, most genuine people you will ever meet. He even had a personalized chocolate cake made up for me that said, "Thank you from Emsud's Clothiers" when I stopped to pickup the suit.
