Drove down today from home to see if I could find some boxes of candy for a couple of ladies I know that are in a nursing home. I shopped here several times over the years and it's only about a 45 minute drive. With the bad weather we have been having, they weren't very busy. As usual they had tons and tons of many varieties of candy and containers for their candy. Shopping here won't break the bank and the candy quality is unbeatable for the outlay of money, a real bargain. They had lots of Valentine's Day candy, Halloween and Christmas. Easter candy was just beginning to be on display. Needless to say I found the candy I was looking for and I even bought some Easter candy for later. They also sell a very large variety of hand dipped quality ice cream with tables to sit at and enjoy yourself. Also huge caramel apples are a big hit here. There is no pressure from the employees to get you to buy anything. When you enter, they do give out free samples. The lady that waited on me was super sweet and it was apparent that she loved her job. Rumor has it that the store may be enlarged. Business seems to be good with loyal local customers and those traveling the nearby interstate. I highly recommend that you stop and check them out...

Then walked away to push a cart, a couple walked in so she got the free candy give out basket for them! I paid cash got over charger for something that was marked down! The dark haired girl didnāt notice it had a black line thru the bar code! I couldnāt see the prices being rang up nor did she relate the prices, poor checkout service! I went back for a refund with the blonde, she ask if I wanted the 10.00 refund on my card, no I paid cash, if she would look at the bottom of my receipt she would see that! There needs to be some training with these individuals! I donāt think their bad they need to give...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was my first time shopping at a Russell Stover store. I had a wonderful experience. I was greeted when I walked in and offered a piece of candy to sample. Then asked if I needed help. I wanted to walk around and see everything. The smell of chocolate was hypnotizing. There is nothing like it. The store offered seasonal products and had past seasonal items marked down. This is a great option for a good mix of chocolates as long as you don't care what kind of box it comes in. Who cares if you're eating Valentine's day chocolate in May. The store had plenty of sugar free options. They also had ice cream, a fudge and chocolate counter, and other candy. It's a nice stop to find a gift, buy a treat for yourself, or buy some discount chocolates. There are at least 3 areas that have bins to "build your own" box of chocolate which would make a lovely gift. I will definitely stop again when I am driving...
