My wife and I really enjoyed this park. We happened to be here during the monthly Dutch oven cooking get together. This event was amazing. Great chefs and great food to sample. Nice hiking trails and lots of fishing spots.

I have camped and stayed in several campgrounds and state parks, this is one of the most well kept I have ever stayed at. Park rangers here are really helpful, no matter how busy they are, Beautiful and very relaxing place. Fishing is ok but a little challenging. Swimming is fantastic and hiking trails are truly amazing! Highly recommend this State Park to all who love nature and the...

We took a family camping trip to Tyler State Park last week, and I just want to commend all the rangers and staff of The Silver Canoe. Not only are they all super friendly and knowledgeable, but they made us feel so welcome. Not only does the store carry souvenirs and supplies, you can rent paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks. Always a great time at Tyler State Park. The hiking trail around the lake is wonderful, though a bit overgrown in a couple of areas right now.
