My experience was very disappointing. I took a lawn mower in for repair and service (not a brand they carry) and it took about a week to diagnose the problem. Their cost to replace 4 wheels, replace the spark plug boot, new carburetor, and sharpen the blade was close to $350 or more. I decided to do a good portion of the work myself but had them replace the spark plug boot and sharpen the blades because I had already paid the $44 diagnostic fee which then gets applied to the service work to be done. I was told an estimated completion date 4 different times. The original 7-10 day estimated time turned eventually into over 20 days and I had to be the one to call on the promised date each time to get a completely new excuse. After being told that I was next in line and that it would likely be the next day, I ended up somehow getting pushed back yet again and finally got it 5 days later. The communication between the service team and the scheduler is obviously very disjointed. Over 3.5 weeks overall for simple fixes is not okay and I would prefer the truth up front instead of excuses. Their costs to do repair work were crazy. They quoted me $50 per tire for the parts alone on a Toro push mower. I was able to find OEM tires for $23 a piece. I understand they should make some money on them supplying the tires, but that kind of markup plus adding shipping and labor costs is crazy. Will not use again or...
Read moreI bought a machine from this dealer in 2020. The seat on this machine failed just after the warranty period, therefore the seat switch failed, which I bypassed and treat it as if it’s still there applying brake and stopping blades before getting off the machine. Well this dealer won’t service my machine now unless I buy a new seat at the cost of $2000 or so dollars. A seat which hasn’t been improved to not break again. This seems pointless and stupid to me. This short sighted dealer won’t see another dime of my money, because of this silliness. I really caution people against buying from them they don’t stand behind their products and use common sense.
Reply to owners response. Regardless of your follow up you had a choice that day to choose to honor my loyalty or to step on it. We know which you chose to do. We also know you know 5 different ways to fix all those switch’s but you would rather sell an expensive seat or tell me to beat it. I’m smart enough to not kill anyone, or myself with my machine, I’m also smart enough to not spend money with dealers like you who don’t honor loyalty and stand by their products, by fixing what they sold. I’m sorry I found you in 2020 and I still extremely caution others from buying from you. I know it’s not all you and Ferris is just as rotten of a brand and they’d rather sell the design to Stihl than fix the mess they made. There are much better dealers...
Read moreI have purchased several Stihl products from here, as well as a walk behind blower. My sales experience was positive for the most part, however there were two major issues. For one, I asked for the power scythe attachment for my Kombi system, and was instead sold the hedge trimmer. My fault for not recognizing this in the store, however when I brought this to the sales persons attention, they told me I should have known that before I used it. The other issue I had was the pole saw attachment. As soon as I got home with it after it was "prepped" in the store, it was smoking and not running right, even while not cutting. I immediately drove back to the store and was asked to leave it with them. The next day I got a call it was ready to be picked up and that it was tested ok. Got home and tried it again, nothing but smoke and no power to the saw, just bogging down as soon as I tried to cut. I called the store and was told I was running it too hard and that they had verified function previously. I have run another pole saw attachment on the small homeowner KM56 and never had any issues with it bogging down. My KM130 R should have no issues at all powering this, however I was left with a useless pole saw and extension I paid $330 for. Just makes me mad every time I saw limbs with my manual fiskars pole saw, that my very expensive investment is left sitting there collecting dust while I manually cut...
