I came across Linden Mill during a lovely day trip with my pup. The mill, which also serves as a library, was open, and I didn't have the chance to explore the original top part of the mill. Unfortunately, it was still before 1 pm, so I could only view the exterior of the mill. The surrounding area was beautiful, with plenty of spots for fishing and a picturesque gazebo & a picnic area. I had a lovely conversation with a gentleman who was dropping off some books at the mill, and he mentioned that the mill had received a grant for restoration, which I found heartwarming. Read moreMarvelous place to launch kayaks. Great area to paddle Upstream and then let the current help you come back. Very light paddling required to make it Upstream. River was clear of debris and will take you out into Lake Ponemah. If you're paddling West you come across a dam in this area access where are you get out and put in is about medium level to go from the upper level to the bottom launch to continue Downstream.
