UPDATED REVIEW - 9/24/25... My friends and I have been stopping by once or twice a week for Lisa's world famous breakfast home fries... those perfectly seasoned potato chunks that have never been made better anywhere else... and her omelets. But for lunch, I really like her delectable grilled cheese sandwiches. Pulled off the grill at their exact peak of ultimate melted goodness, they simply can't be made any better. They remind me of the lunches my dear mother used to make me when I was a kid. Everything at Linden Coney is delicious. You can't go wrong with world-renown Chef, Lisa, in the kitchen. 😍 ORIGINAL REVIEW: I never knew that this fine Coney Island existed until my neighbor mentioned it this week. So, over the last few days, we have had lunch and then breakfast there.
First of all, even with the restaurant full of diners, the noise wasn't overwhelming like Leo's (a favorite place of mine) can be. As a retiree who has hearing issues, a less noisy environment is nice to dine in.
For lunch, I had the standard coneys (Detroit style) and fries. The owner, Lisa, didn't disappoint. Her coneys were as good as anyone else's. The fries were perfectly made. Neither greasy nor overdone.
For breakfast this morning, I had a 3-egg omlette with cheese, mushroom, ham, and sausage. Deeeeee-lish. The hashbrowns were perfect although I think I'll try the breakfast potatoes next time like my buddy had. Lisa's son waited on us. He was attentive and very personable. He did a fine job.
Bridge Street Coney Cafe not only gives us a new place (new to us) to eat but it might just be our go-to place for coney food. And my neighbor and I take our coney food quite seriously! 🙂 Since this is not a big chain but is owner-operated, I encourage people to support a great small, local business like this and give them your patronage. You won't regret it since the food is wonderful and filling and you get a good value for your money.

Read moreMy husband and I went here for lunch, and it was what I would describe as unbelievably horrendous. Absolutely revolting! The food was burnt and bitter, not to mention hard and definitely cooked the day before, then cooked again on a dirty grill. I didn't know a chicken breast pita could be this bad, and it was disturbing that the meat was in the shape of little hard rocks and some of the pieces were red and the rest were not but they all tasted burnt and terrible. I joked that they were leftovers from the plate of some guy's barbecue chicken from the night before, but after trying one I'm now sure it's not a joke. The waitress never checked on us one time and I had to get up and yell to the back of the kitchen to get some ranch because the chicken was so dry that it was inedible on its own. We were also overcharged. The waitress asked if I would like french fries with my sandwich and I said can I substitute that for a salad? And she said sure no problem then charged us $5 extra for it without telling me. What's even worse, after I left my whole plate and complained about how unbelievably bad it was, the waitress never even offered to take it off the bill. But she never once asked me, how was everything? They didn't care.
The health department needs to get over there right away and shut...

On a regular basis, wife and I pick a small town to ride to on our Harley. Pick a restaurant to grab a bite before heading home. Picked this place for this ride.
We’re there on a Tuesday, 10ish, for breakfast. Not busy but service was still very slow. Not like we’re in a rush but still very slow.
The wife is one of the nicest people you’d ever meet. She said it before I did….food was very bland. Was like going over to a neighbors for breakfast. All the content was there but was just no flavor to any of it.
Pricey for what...
