Thriftway — Local services in Linn

I have drove through Linn going to Jefferson City for years. I had never gone into this grocery store in any of that time. Like most, I shop close by. But today the wife asked that I pick up a few items and I remembered this store was on my way and would save me a trip on into town. I was overwhelmed by all the politeness of each employee. Just about everyone stopped what they were doing to greet me. It was refreshing and a great reminder of what used to be in this country that I feel we have lost. I will stop in more often...

This has become one of our preferred stops on our trips across the state. Easy access clean restroom is admittedly our focal point. But as I have specific fueling requirements and I detest gas station food, grocery stores are preferable. We can grab food and beverage items with much broader and healthier selection even in small-town Missouri. This Thriftway is always clean and has friendly, helpful staff, with the exception of the one deli lady...but maybe that is her thing, like...

Even shopping here almost daily I can usually manage to find a couple of good deals and the staff if always very personable and friendly. Now with the app they are coming into the 21st century however it's also costing the 5th star.. There should be in my opinion a little less attention aimed at the household stuff considering its a grocery store...
