We recently visited Short Furniture Store in downtown Litchfield and we were so happy with the way they treat their customers, and our shopping experience was so unique we thought, we had to share it with everyone! Right when you walk in the door, you're greeted with a friendly hello welcoming you, while you start to browse the store, (we like to look around and talk a bit before asking for help) this experience was so different then we have had at other stores, as soon as we were walking sitting, examining fabric etc, a lady came up to us and answered our questions, showed us all comparables to what we were looking for. They even have fabric samples you can look through, and possibly check out to take home to see if the colors are right for your rooms. We had two very nice ladies even help us measure to see if the pieces would fit in the rooms we needed the Furniture for, showing us details and how we could order different pieces to the sectional we wanted. Their customer service is fast and easy (we know that from a past purchase we made) if you have a problem with something you just call and they come and take it, fix it, and bring it back. No purchasing extra warranties..... we're going to continue buying from Shorts Furniture, We're just that happy with our decision! Pics to...
   Read moreService is fine but beware of products sold here! Me and my wife were sold a bad chair. Was a light blue Lazy-Boy recliner that cost around $600 and less than a year later it was totally destroyed. The armrests split apart to reveal a cheap wooden frame. Fabric was literally stapled to the back. Given the reputation of Lazy-Boy and the positive word of mouth about Short's quality we did not buy the warranty. It was unfortunate experience and while we did not complain to the store as we should have, the truth is the chair was a shoddy product.
Edit: in response to below comment I did call the store but they couldn't do anything without the chair which was hauled off for garbage. It is what it is. I didn't say the service was bad only the quality of the merchandise sold. I get that I should have kept the remains of the chair, and because I didn't, nothing can be done but the chair shouldn't have broken in that time frame to begin with. First, the sales experience was wonderful. Kathy, who was so nice, helped us with our dilemma as I liked something different than my husband and we werenât sure how to make it all blend with the couch and different type/color of recliner. Second, the delivery team was incredible. Weâve had furniture delivered from another store and it was a bad experience. So bad that I dreaded buying furniture again because I didnât want to go through that another time. The delivery team made everything seem so easy and they were not only friendly to me, but also my dogs. Last, the furniture is top quality. I cannot get over how nice everything is and what a great deal we got on it. I canât wait to get everything in place and decorate. Short will get all of our furniture business...
