Kismet Coffee — Restaurant in Litchfield

Been enjoying my walks to Kismet, it'll only be a matter of time before I'm gonna be noticed as a regular haha. They use Kaldi's coffee for a good chunk of beans, huge variety of syrups for flavors to fix whatever itch you have for flavors. My partner really enjoy L's the Caramel Toffee Nut, I've tried quite a few different drinks but have yet to find my "usual" (they've all been so tasty!). I've tried the Affagato (def good on hot days, ice cream with espresso), Banana Mac Latte (banana macadamia), I think they're only missing a S'mores type drink and I'd be golden XDD I enjoy the chocolate croissants, a good chunk of the food is imported lil specialty snacks and some good healthy lunch options (Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich was pretty good, they also have salads and parfaits)

Price wise its about what you'd expect to spend at a coffee shop, if I get just a coffee I'll spend $7-10, if I get something to munch I'll spend about $15, with my partner sharing lunch it's about $25, all with tip included

A couple of weeks ago, we set out on a little “central Illinois coffee trail” run, and kismet was on our list of places to try. Let me tell ya this place is AMAZING!! We ordered a chai to share, and the avocado toast. Both were great! (They use Kaldi’s coffee beans too, so we can’t wait to come back and try it!) The inside is very nice. Lots of places to sit & very spacious. We chose to go outside on the patio, which is newer—they just finished it in September! The pictures don’t do it justice either, it’s a great place to hang out. We also ended up meeting the owner (and family!) & we chatted a bit about the place. He told us his goal was to “bring a little bit of stl to Litchfield”, and I think they did a great job of that! Then we told them about our little coffee trail journey, and they gave us some great suggestions of places to stop by next. By far the cutest coffee & hot cocoa cafe while visiting Litchfield, IL!! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would!! My husband went through the drive-thru & they came to his vehicle to get his order & it was ready before he even got to the window - top notch service for sure! Even my husband was impressed! Then on another day, we stopped in for our girls outing & were greeted with smiles & the staff was so pleasant, answering all our questions. The atmosphere was relaxing & adoringly decorated. Everything was tastefully done from the mugs chosen down to the signage. You can tell there was a lot of thought put into the details of Kismet. I wish I could pick it up & put it in my hometown b/c that's how much I loved the experience & service! A definite hidden gem for sure - thank you Kismet for a phenomenal experience from the time we stepped inside to the time we departed. We will be forever customers each time we visit...
