LAKEWOOD LIQUORS — Local services in Little Rock Township

I just discovered this little gem across the street from my house, and I couldn’t be happier. The owners are super nice and always greet me with a friendly warm “ Hello Carrie “ which is nice. One negative thing about Lakewood Liquors is that They do not open until at 12:00pm when the other liquor stores open at 6am which can be inconvenient. They do stay open 1 hour later until 11pm when the others close at 10pm during the week. Also they do charge more for cigarettes. I buy cigarettes every 2 days from either the BP gas station, Shell gas station, or the Liquor Store off Sycamore & Route 34 and I ALWAYS pay $18.10, but at Lakewood Liquors I was surprised when the wife rang up my 2 packs of Marlboro for almost $24 dollars. I will go here if no one else is open, but I am going to stick to my usual liquor store off Sycamore for cigarettes and save my $6 dollars each time....

"Lakewood Liquor" is inbetween our neighborhoods, North ⬆️⬇️and South. The owners, Nick and his wife really try to make the customer happy. I’ve been coming to Lakewood Liquors for a while now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best liquor stores in the area.

The selection is incredible—well-organized, wide-ranging, and clearly curated by people who know and love their alcohol!

What really keeps me coming back, though, is the owners. They’re consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help with suggestions or answer questions. I’ve gotten some of my all-time favorite recommendations just by chatting with someone behind the counter.
