Planet Pizza — Restaurant in Little Rock Township

This pizza impressed me because it's exactly how I like pizza. I don't care for deep dish or thin crust. I like balance in the sauce, cheese, and toppings. Too many pizza places overdo it with the sauce and/or cheese and it just creates a sloppy mess and, when it cools, a textural nightmare.

This pizza's crust is perfect--it's crispy, but it's not super thin. It can actually hold the toppings. There's a good amount of sauce and it has a nice flavor of tomatoes and herbs. The cheese is nicely browned on top, and also a great amount. I like cheese but it's gross when it's just glommed on. The bites of sausage on top have great flavor and, most importantly, they don't have the weird squidgy texture of cheap meat.

I can't speak to the restaurant experience because we ordered delivery. The service insofar as fulfilling the order was fine--the food arrived in a reasonable timeframe considering it was clearly freshly made. It was a touch on the pricey side for pizza but I think still reasonable given how filling and delicious it is.

We’ve ordered from here a few times at this point and I think it’s my favorite in our area, which is saying something because our local pizza options are all great! Haven’t tried any of the other offerings but probably will...

Horrible customer service. I ordered on the Slice app since they offer a free pizza after so many orders. I’ve ordered from multiple other local pizza places and have never had an issue. I waited 30 minutes to even get confirmation which should have been the first red flag. Once it finally got confirmed, I received another notification that it was cancelled but then a minute later it was confirmed again with a pick up time of about an hour later. I get there to pick it up and the guy at the counter tells me they were trying to cancel the order but didn’t know how. Then he brings out the owner and he says the same thing. Why are you on the Slice app if you don’t even know how to use it?? The owner doesn’t even apologize or offer a solution. He could have at least called me to let me know they couldn’t fulfill the order instead of making me wait an hour and get there to find out they didn’t even make it. Even another lady waiting on her pizzas offered me hers because she saw the owner provided no help whatsoever. The owner was begging for customers on Facebook so now that he finally has more, he can’t keep up. Hire more staff or prepare to lose...

Veteran Owned business! My family of 4 went and dined in April 16 during the mid day. It’s a small shop but nothing we couldn’t handle. We were greeted by smiling faces and didn’t feel as if we were a burden dining in with a 6 and 7 year old. The owner was awesome and very accommodating. He also has a small PacMan game that kept my kids pre occupied before their pizza came out. We ordered appetizers-mozzarella sticks breaded mushrooms. They came out fast and were great. Some quick items like that can come out very greasy however, that was a great indicator that small food details like that matter to this owner. We also ordered the Astroid pizza and the ingredients were fresh. The sausages were something to be proud of. Big enough to bring a grown man to tears. Finally someone who isn’t afraid to make a pizza out of this world (no pun intended lol) The crust was perfectly crispy which is almost an art considering all those toppings can make a pizza soggy.
