PDA Road Gear — Local services in Littleton

I thought I could save getting everything off eBay and doing my own install. Everything was new, stereo, speakers, subwoofer, amp, stereo harness, install kit, steering wheel controls. Felt everything was fair except the steering wheel control needed to cut into column harness, install plate probably molded out of someone's garage and the harness was horriblly cheap, containing wires that didn't match color code chart and no I'm not color blind. Got the amp wiring kit from Car Toys, it was all blue, everything. RCA's were just blue, no designator for left/right, cheap but cost $10 more than the good set I got from PDA. Minus the main components, I threw everything aside and went to PDA. Install kit looks as close to original as possible. Harness matches color codes and has RCA's, so if your stereo doesn't have them, not a problem. Steering wheel kit, zero cutting into writing. Set the switch for Kenwood and literally plugged it in. Has instructions for programming, but mine worked out of the box. Long story short, trying to go a cheaper route, I probably spent more than just going to PDA to start with and wasted allot of time. All their staff on my multiple visits were just awesome and eager to help and give pointers although I didn't purchase the main items through them. I've already told my friends, stay out of Car Toys, eBay, Best Buy and anyone else. Go to PDA! Only negative I could possibly come up with is your website could probably be better.

I had the most AMAZING experience at PDA Road Gear! How did I NOT know that this gem-of-a- business existed in my backyard? Cade, Lynn and Guy - from the initial call through the installation - were kind, professional, knowledgeable and guided me to the correct satellite radio (within my teacher budget) for my Honda Ridgeline. They provide exceptional customer service! Cade and Guy provided a patient/thorough explanation of the 'workings' of my radio. I was informed that PDA honor Military and Educators. Having had my prior vehicle stolen, this wonderful group of people are reminders me that 'good folks' outnumber the 'bad eggs' in life. I love my purchase! Don't hesitate to go to PDA! Best price and service in town!!! Grateful that they have been "disturbing the peace' since their origins in 1980!

Update: Yet another amazing experience with the PDA crew! My 2006 Ridgeline presented some additional challenges with getting the Subwoofer functional. Cade and Guy went above and beyond troubleshooting! A part was ordered to make the Subwoofer crank...and, boy, it now cranks! They also adjusted the microphone position on the steering column; I'm quiet by nature, so I'm happy to report that my callers can now hear me :) I am passing word in the racing circle...boating circle...biker circle...and classic car circle. ..that PDA's crew/honest business practices/customer service continues to be, bar none, the best in town!

I got tired of the sound quality in my 2022 Toyota Tundra 1794. I went to PDA Road Gear to discuss an upgrade. I didn't want to change out the whole system, just upgrade the speakers, the sub and add an amp for the subwoofer. Guy and the team at PDA made recommendations based on my criteria and budget. At no time did they try to over sell me or push me into a huge $$$ upgrade. They recommended BLAM Relax series speakers to replace the dash, door and A-Pillar speakers. Not top of the line, but a huge improvement over the factory JBL's, and sound great being driven by the factory JBL amp and head unit. Next the factory JBL amp wedged behind the rear seat. A JL Audio Steathbox was specified along with a JL audio XDM amplifier. The trick here was a Stealthbox wasn't available that fit the 2022 Tundra, and the unit they ordered wasn't going to fit. At the last minute, the PDA team called and let me know JL had just released a Stealthbox for my truck and were having it over night shipped to the shop to be installed with a JL XDM-300 mono block amp. I also had PDA install sound deadening mat in all 4 doors. The guidance, the install quality, and the finished product are first rate. The sound quality in the truck is amazing, and it didn't cost an arm and leg. PDA also stands behind their work and strive to make sure the customer is happy. Thank you PDA...
