Meridian Community Center — Local services in Loganville

I love this gym and I think it’s located in a very beautiful area. Unfortunately I’ve had a few issues with the staff. First, it seems that the staff never seems to greet me or acknowledge me until I speak to them. I’ve even asked them how they were doing, (just to be polite) and it seemed like it was hard for them to respond. Also, I get the vibe that I’m not wanted there simply due to my age (or even race). The crowd is much older at the gym but it doesn’t specifically say the gym is for older individuals. The front staff flagged me down due to the fact that I was wearing a sports tank top that slightly showed my midriff area. The woman at the front desk told me I couldn’t enter due to me wearing my sports tank which is appropriate exercise wear. She told me that since this was a government owned building, my clothing would not permitted. I checked the Walton County park guidelines and it doesn’t say anything about showing my midriff area. It states that, “clothing that is offensive and provocative is not allowed.” I guess they consider regular exercise wear to be provocative. Unacceptable Conduct and Inappropriate Discrimination by Front Desk Staff (0/5 Stars)

​On September 26, 2025, at approximately 1:00 PM, our experience with the front desk staff was appalling.

​The employees were overtly rude, displayed zero customer service skills, and acted unprofessionally.

​Crucially, my daughter, a paying member, was improperly and arbitrarily refused entry to the gym.

The staff claimed her standard workout attire was inappropriate, a reason that was false and unwarranted. This behavior is unacceptable and feels like an act of inappropriate judgment and discrimination.

​This is not an isolated incident; it reflects a continuous failure of management to train and supervise its staff.

​We pay for access to a facility where we should feel welcome and respected, not judged and turned away by employees who lack basic professionalism.

This kind of misconduct prevents paying members from using the services they are entitled to.

​Management must address this failure of conduct and training immediately. I urge potential members to consider this staff issue...

Possibly the stupidest gym ive ever been to , No squat rack , Im dont reside in walton county so a worker harrassed me about it because I couldnt show her a walton county id in the middle of my workout for no apparent reason after I already paid my daily fee. It was the only gym ive ever been too that actually tries to get you to cancel my membership because this was my only outlet of getting a lift in before I was threatend my grandparents membership card getting canceled for once...
