Dollar General — Local services in London

I hate to give bad reviews, but extremely frustrated. Three of the four times we have tried to shop at this store, it was closed during regular hours! Last night, my husband tried to shop there after work at 6:30p (open til 8) when there was a sign on the door saying closed early. This is an ongoing issue. Why did you even build the place?! The one time we DID shop there, the experience was just fine. Keep the store open... staffing issues?!

It’s so hard to shop here. The shelves are always half empty with wheelers full of unpacked boxes of product in the aisles taking up space, the door alarm is obnoxiously loud and the chime constantly goes off with people going through or not, and most of the time the employees are in the office area behind the cash register chatting away while the store is in absolute disarray. It didn’t take long for this pretty new store to turn into any other dollar general in Springfield. I wish I could upload a video of how many times that door alarm goes off when you’re shopping… 18 times in 5 minutes I counted- and I’m not...

Posted hours says 8a to 10p. Hand written sign on the door says closing at 8. For a store that nobody in this town wanted, the least you could do is honor the hours you say. Got there at 7:45 and there were already two cars in the parking lot leaving because the doors were locked and nobody in sight...
