Main Street Pizza — Restaurant in South Vienna

Found this little gem out of necessity today with the help of @Google. Pulled in around 6:00 PM. Unfortunately did not get the name of the young lady who took care of us. Only my wife, son and myself dining in. Service was personable, efficient and professional. My wife had a side salad, I ordered a large chef. Both were fresh, tasty and worth the price. Our medium pep, mushroom and extra cheese pizza was ON POINT! My son would eat pizza every day. I can take it or leave it as I seldom get pizza that seriously impresses me. This one did. The cheese was extra and plentiful but not too much. It is good cheese. The pizza was not greasy, which means the pepperoni is not the cheap stuff. The crust was not thin, but crisp, the way I like it. Our son was not feeling his best but needed to eat. He ate a bit, said he done, but went back twice. He approves as well. Unfortunately my 5* review has went way down just like the food here. I used to love this place but everytime we've got it in the past year or so it's not been great well not even really good. I always get the pretzel and beer cheese. It's always burnt now as in pic and guess what no cheese. Got 2 small pizzas and a sub also and paid $45. Pizza was just ok I got onion and banana peppers I think they forgot the onion. The sub you can judge by the pic for yourself. Oops That's where my onions went but where are the toppings for the sandwich? It's wild how the girl acted hurt there wasn't a tip for her. Honestly I have ordered from here for years. Never liked the pizza but subs were amazing and the grandmother who's owns the place is a sweetheart. However 4 out 4 times I have ordered an itial sub with double meat and double cheese. For years the subs have been stacked. And now this last time the subs ordered that way were 14 instead of 12. Which the owner told me was going to happen. But if "extra" means one more piece of salami I will have to pass from now on. Good luck to you and your...
