The atmosphere is very classy...the lighting has a nice ambience, the new bathrooms are cool, and you can still purchase movie tickets from someone outside the theater through a window just like everyone USED to be able to do. The popcorn is quite tasty and fresh every time you go in, and there is a tasty variety of items featured to be cooked to order. Additionally, the craft beer selection and even the wine selection is more varied than some bars may have! Finally, the owners support the community and are always friendly when you talk to them in that they have interesting conversations with you and smiles on their faces. The theater itself is pretty nice too...the artwork and decor are unique and classically appealing, the screen and theater/seat sizes are appropriate and so is the temperature inside. I recommend this little slice of historical atmosphere to anyone! It is such a nice change from the commercial big box corporate theaters that overcharge and underserve the greater metropolitan areas...
Read moreI went here to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I took my girlfriend and my nephew.
I have seen the movie on DVD and VHS dozens of times but have never seein it in the theaterabd thought it wid be a nice treat. This particular one had a shadow cast preforming ongoing of the screen while the movie.
The theater itself is on the small side, but it has a quaint feeling of grandeur to it. The lobby has a surprising variety of food to choose from- everything from the standard popcorn and pop to savory flatbreads.
We had a wonderful time! The cast ws fun and playful. The overall experience was amazing and I will go again to see both Rocky Horror as well as one of the special things they do like their "Terror of the '80s" double feature.
This is a delightful small-town theater with great people working there. You should go. You will not be...

As it just says 'STATE' on the front and there's a ticket booth underneath. If there are cars parked in front you'll likely pass it. We had to move to the very front of the theater because of the seating not being inclined enough. My kids kept getting blocked by adult heads. I left with a headache. -pros- There is one theater. It seems to bring people/friends together. The food was delicious. Its not your usual movie food. Trays are given to you to sit inside your cup holder and not your lap. Very nice. Some people had it delivered to them. The decoration of the place is very nice. The staff seem to care a lot about your experience. Other than the seating situation, I had a good...
