We went with Vallery Farmhouse for our wedding desserts and it is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Our wedding planner Jennifer from STR Events referred us to Vallery early on in our planning process- and we are so grateful that she did. Our guests absolutely LOVED all of the dessert options. We got a variety of cakes, cupcakes, and buckeyes. The cake itself turned out beautiful- exactly what we pictured when describing it. The cupcakes gave our guests a great variety for flavor options. And we sent folks home with buckeyes as our party favor- but most of them didn’t even make it out the door because they were too delicious. The pricing was very fair and the Vallery team went above and beyond to prep the packaging on our buckeyes and to deliver the cake and cupcakes on our big day.
We went to Vallery to trial some of the flavors before we made our choices- and that was certainly the most difficult part. The shop itself is adorable and beautiful, the smells inside make you want to eat a 5 course meal of desserts, and the staff was so friendly. All of their cupcakes are incredible and choosing a favorite was a near impossible task. We eventually decided to go with five different cupcake flavors and three flavors on the cake because we couldn’t narrow things down any further.
Thank you for making our day and desserts so amazing- we can’t wait to cut the anniversary cake in our freezer in about a year from now- we know it’ll be amazing!
Thanks, Cathy...
Read moreI have always bought cakes and items from Vallery’s because of great quality and great tasting. However, the last couple of times have not been great, especially today. This has nothing to do w the owners, it’s the people they have working for them. Today my mom and i went through the drive thru (the only option they give you), and got in line at 10:20am on the dot. There were 4 cars in front of us, and we waited forever for them to get through. The people in front ordered tons of boxes and specialty drinks, which assuming why it took so long. At 10:42am it was finally our turn. We ordered one hot coffee mocha and 1 Apple cider, and were asked to pull to the front to wait....Odd considering we had to wait endlessly for the people in front of us with wayyyy more items? So we waited. Cars behind us were getting their items before we did, they too had specialty drinks. After the second car behind us got theirs, we asked “where are ours!?” The girl had no clue what she even had in her hands. We left there at 11:02am....it took 42 mins to get 2 simple (assuming) drinks. We were late for an event we were going to. I’m writing this so you can PLEASE train your employees better. Also please have a working phone number for people to be able to contact you. Very...
Read moreI would give this place 100 stars if I could! I'm new to Mt. Sterling but do not care for their coffee shop that's in town. So I googled local coffee places, Vallery is 17 miles away from me but I thought the reviews were promising enough. Sure enough, it was way worth the drive!!! My son ate a breakfast sandwich and I ate a chicken salad sandwich. I also ordered a large Caramel Clucker (highly recommend), a Reese cupcake, a strawberry cupcake and an apple juice. Everything was top notch and delicious! I came back the next day for the coffee and I got to meet one of the owners. He was extremely hospitable and personable. We made small talk about how their business started up and how well his wife decorated the place. I am definitely going to order more baked goods next time and I'd grab their coffee every day if I could. Only thing I recommend is an updated photo of their new location, Google Maps led me to their old location and I didn't have a photo to off of to guide me. Maybe putting a picture on their Facebook banner would be helpful. Either way, I know how to get there and will keep...
