Food Lion — Local services in Long View

It's a great place to buy your meat they have good meat at Food Lion they have good everything at Food Lion but it's kind of hard for them to compete with the big neighborhood chain that is running everybody out of business for some reason though their meat is very expensive there and if you go there they will never have what you need there always sold out of my kind of milking my kind of bread but Food Lion always has what I need the damn neighborhood Walmart Market sucks when it comes to bread and milk they even don't even carry my deodorant anymore and one time you go there and they'll have a Walmart brand English muffin and next time you go there's not even a place on the Shelf Fort the sticker is even gone and then you go again and there's that damn Walmart brand English muffin again for $0.80 and you say hey it's back but then you get it and go back next week and guess what it ain't there no more $2.40 for the name brand and my deodorant is no longer there and they never have the store brand lactose-free whole milk every time let me backup to be fair nine out of ten times they are sold out of my milk and I don't understand it because this milk has an expiration date of four times as long as regular milk so why can't you keep a few extra cases in the cooler it's not that hard to take some lessons...

Always encountering 2 older cashiers. Only know ones name Nancy. I went in about 845 on a Sunday night 8/20/23 to get drinks for the week. As I went in I noticed my Mother was in one of the carts due to injuring her ankle and also being 72. Neither my Mom or the cashier Nancy saw me watching, Nancy was very rude to my Mother, she would bag the groceries and would not push them toward her to reach them leaving my Mother sitting on the edge about to fall off the cart, so I went over there and surprised both of them and grabbed the bags and told Nancy to push them so she can reach them. I got home and cooled off and then called the Manager on duty. He was a young guy forgot his name, but he started off being a little arrogant, so I had to get a little firm with the situation at hand then he was okay. They say they will take care of it but for 5 or 6 times that I know of they haven't. My recommendation is go to the one in Hildebran, they are only a couple minutes away and a true to the quote when you call about customer service being priority. I had several run ins with these lady cashiers before about being hateful and very rude. On 5 different occasions the " Managment " if that's what you call it says we will handle it, if that's the case why does these incidents...

You have got to be kidding me..the customer service over the years has gotten worse. I visit no less than two times a week. I went in bought a few items, went to check out and the bar code was partially missing from the pack of chicken, the cashier says can we scan a different one the price maybe a little different (price was clearly marked). Of course i said no. She just stood there which seemed like hours..and than another cashier came over, out of frustration i said never mind just put it back. The other cashier took it upon himself manually enter in chicken and sling on counter.. Really how unprofessional...if i wasn't already drained..he would have gotten a piece of my mind!

Dear Manager, Please take notice of what your employees are doing..because things like this have been going on for years and 90% of your employees are lazy and unprofessional...
