First time visiting this place. Not the first time I have had the food though. At first arrival, I was a little confused. I couldn’t have imagined a restaurant being located here. But when I walked into this quaint little piece of heaven, my heart was flooded with warm feelings of home. I felt just as if I had taken a step back into Mexico. The bright colors and interior decor was just as if it were a little restaurant in Mexico. There is nothing listed on the menu that isn’t absolutely amazing!! The sopes and pupusas are my favorites. The gorditas and tacos and even the special of the day that changes are all delectable!! And really there is nothing there you won’t enjoy, and want more of. Was looking for authentic Mexican or Latin America food one day and came upon this place while browsing through restaurant names in Google. When we walked in we were worried because there were no customers at right before noon, and we couldn't smell any food cooking. We ordered a ton of food—papusas, huaraches, pozole, sopes, drinks that came in huge cups. Everything was made fresh and packaged with love. Everything came with little cups of sauce that paired perfectly with the entree and the pupusas came with a cabbage salad that is to die for. The cashier was encredibly friendly and patient with us as we ordered basically everything off the menu.

This is the best Mexican in hickory. They have pupusas, tacos, tortas, you name it. They even have flautas, they aren't on the menu but when I asked for them they made them and they were delicious.
