Flowerama — Local services in Lorain

Service was good till we got our order. I ordered a bouquet and boutonniere as a gift for my brother and sister in law's wedding over the phone. Then I brought her (bride) in to confirm what she wanted, how it was going to look (simple and elegant), and paid it in full so all we had to do was pick it up. Well on pickup day, her mother (mother of bride), decided what my SIL chose wasn't big enough and made the flower shop take the bouquet apart and add flowers my SIL did not even want! Their excuse was, oh we get this all the time and assumed you guys knew since she came to pick it up. I asked why they didnt think to call me as I am the customer that ordered it with the bride, and we confirmed it and paid for it in full. They responded, she paid the difference and made us take it apart. We didnt go even get to see what we asked for!! Then I asked how we could remedy this issue because that was not what we ordered nor did they notify ME about MY order. The owner was supposedly there that night of pickup and didn't want to give me a refund. They were trying to give me a new bouquet.. AFTER the wedding already happened. I kept asking why they didnt call me first, and they just kept saying it's their policy to help the customers in front of them to make that customer happy. The owner made me wait a week for a $20 refund. We will not be trusting...

I have been this shop's customer since it opened. As of today, I will NEVER do business with them again! Thanks to Flowerama, Bonaminio's has a new faithful customer. You don't have to deal with eye rolling, huffing and puffing, and cynical tones from Bonaminio's or Zelek's or EVEN Off Broadway Floral!! I refuse to be Flowerama's victim of a poor excuse of customer service again. Telling my friends and family to do the same and highly suggest you do the same. If you're looking for quality products and services....go elsewhere. Flowerama SUCKS!!!!

Update....I wish I could give a zero star ...picked the corsage up and it is not even what I ordered! It took 2 trips to the shop to pick it up. The first time they couldn't even find it. I think they threw something together before I got back the second time. Seriously folks....do not waste your...

I called about a week ago to get a Corsage made and the girl that answered was very understanding since the band had to be custom made and fairly smaller than normal and then the boutineere was also added onto the order and when i went there today to pick them up, they were the prettiest corsage and boutineere ive ever seen, very pretty red roses and the ribbon and the band was the perfect size, not too small nor too big for the girl, didnt slip or choke out her wrist so very good on their end, but everything looked perfect and was exactly what i was looking for and ill be happy to come again and make more orders when i need to, the customer service was very good as well. I would reccomend this place to anyone looking for flowers, stuff for homecoming or any kind of special...
