David M. Gonzales Recreation Center — Local services in Los Angeles

I hate this park. I have had SUCH a bad experience at this park! The sport teams are $50, the coaches are not the greatest as the title of "coach", it almost seems they're just "coaching" for the pay, they messed up on my kids name on the trophy and never called me to pick it up when it was ready, and the environment is HORRIBLE. I got my car tires slashed in the early morning when I went to my kids photo at 8am in the morning. I asked the front desk if they have cameras in the parking lot and they said no. Then I later found out that one of my head lights were smashed. Very scared neighborhood. I never went back to this park. I am researching other better and safer recreation parks for my kid to play sports and get involved in. Smh 👎You have been warned about this parks reputation and location. The rest is up to u....

I can’t give you more stars because I was there’s years ago when my experience with the preschool was great, fighting to keep kids safe with the help of the local authorities, but unfortunately because doesn’t get the attention and support it needs from LA things won’t get better. That’s why the valley wanted to succeed and have their own local government officials to fix the safety issues we and our kids...

This is Pacoima! Be aware! Drunk people drinking beers in public on the parking lot. Parking lot and surrounding areas are not well lit. Gym is most of the time busy. Attendants are not friendly. Lawn areas are not adequately maintained. Dried and holes...
