I've had the pleasure of visiting and shopping at the Poise-Madame Kofo's Boutique on Crenshaw Blvd in Los Angeles plenty of times over the past decade. The store carries a wide assortment of high-quality traditional African fabrics, shoes and accessories for women and men looking for those special materials for their special traditional occasions, traditional weddings and celebrations and events of any kind. If there's anything you're looking for that they don't have in stock at the time of your visit, they will make arrangements to get it to you from Nigeria or elsewhere within weeks.

The owners of the store, Madam Kofo and her husband, are nice, friendly, kind and knowledgeable people who always listen patiently to what my needs and (especially) my budgets are at any point in time and recommend things to me that fit perfectly with those needs and budgets. Both of them have great sense of humor and always make me laugh and feel welcome at their store.

They always treat me with respect whenever they see me, even on the many occasions when I end up buying nothing. Their prices are very affordable also.

I was referred to this shop by a friend to purchase material for an outfit or buy an outfit off the rack for an upcoming wedding. Unfortunately, I was treated so poorly that I will never step foot in this boutique again. The male clerk was extremely rude, condescending and borderline line combative!
