Viking Pizza - mozzarella, kabob, feta, cucumber, peppercini, onion, fresh tomato, salad, sauce / 5 🌟! Quattro Stagioni Pizza - ham, shrimp, mussels, olive, mushroom, artichokes/ 5 🌟!
I found a kabob pizza post online somewhere and it looked interesting which then led to me wondering where in LA I might find one and that led me to Viking Pizza and Kabob. My parents had just arrived for a visit and that felt like a good time to see if a kabob pizza was as good as it sounded. The answer was a definite yes!
The pizza was very tasty and very much tasted like a kabob. I was ready for whatever outcome it could have been so I was thrilled to find out it was tasty. The pizza crust was New York style, thin and chewy. Complimented the toppings very well.
Since there was three of us and a big menu of interesting pizza combos we also tried out a Quattro Stagioni. Also very tasty. The shrimp and mussels were good quality.
If I hadn't seen a kabob pizza online I would very likely never have found Viking Pizza which is a shame because it is a really good place that offers up a lot of creative, gourmet pizza combos. Plus they have a much broader menu that...
Read moreThe BEST pizza around. This pizza is different from traditional pizza so if that's what you're looking for you're going to have to specify that when you place your order. I HIGHLY recommend the large "Viking" pizza; it's our fave! In fairness we haven't had many of their other pizzas cause we're so in love with the "Viking" but we've had some of the other offerings on their menu and everything we tried was delicious. The "Viking" has cheese, light marinara, kabob, tomatoes, romaine, onions, feta and a light cream sauce on top of a hand tossed crust. It's a total party in your mouth! SO good!! Note: I recommend the large because the smaller size crusts are good but the large seems to have a better texture (imo). I also highly recommend their hummus. Also very different from the norm. My family and I love this place so much that we would go here at least three or four times per month pre-covid. Now we order take out or delivery from them a few times a month to support them. It would be such a loss if we lost this little gem. Try this place, you...
Read moreI really like this place and it's affordable. I'm going back definitely. BUT, I ordered a Margarita Pizza and according to this place it comes only with cheese (why not call it "cheese pizza" then?). I asked the guy (the owner I think he was) why he called a "margarita pizza" when it is not, and he didn't know what I was talking about. All over the world, Margarita Pizza always comes with cheese (obviously), sliced tomato, and basil. You can find more info in Wikipedia (google: pizza margherita wiki, or pizza margarita wiki) or all over the internet. But he WANTS to call a cheese pizza a "margarita pizza". So I paid extra for the missing ingredients and it was a very, very good Margarita Pizza. One of my top 10, maybe my number 7 favorite one (and I have travel all over Europe and in the US and the first thing I do is find pizza spots). So, aside from HIS weird way of misleading you with the pizza names (the only place I have ever encounter this), this is...
