Arizpe Flooring — Local services in Los Fresnos

Wed 12-7-22 I contacted AF for an estimate for replacement flooring in our home. They were quick to answer my call. As I explained my needs. The person introduced himself as Reni Arizepi and says He is the son of the founder and would be happy to assist us. He got our address and came out to see what we had for flooring and the area needing covered. He arrived about an hour later.

I explained we were not happy with the Pergo flooring currently installed and the quality of the install. He reassured us his company is focused on quality and customer satisfaction. He gave us a lot of info during this visit but we would need to come to his business location to see the many options they carry.

There office was in a easy to find location about 10 minutes away.

They offer vinyl laminate but we opted for the more expensive hard wood. It is a European oak from Hallmark called Cape Neddik. He asked when we would like the install to take place? I asked how long it would take and if we would have to be out of the home.? His responses supersized me. He said it would take 3 days. We could stay but he recommends We don't. We decided to stay in our camper within the park we live in. He said he could start in as soon as the hard wood came in but it was Christmas and we decided to wait until after the holidays. We decided on January 9 for the install. The day of the install. There crew showed up with the owner Rey Arizpe Sr. as promised at 8:30 am. They came in and right away started moving furniture. (They even removed all the appliances and toilets). The crew was so efficient and careful with our belongings, it was easy to see our house was in good hands.

I'm not going to bore you with all the activity but we showed up multiple times during the next couple days to see how things were going. Every time one of the Arizpe's were there and it was a hive of activity. Every one had a job and did it. Things happened so fast.

Fast forward to Wednesday Jan 11. Yes two days later. At noon we received a call to inform us our house is ready for inspection. When we walked through the front door . All the furniture and appliances were back in place, my wife and I were almost floored by the new look. The change makes the home so much more welcoming then before and we look forward to entertaining on it.

Simple fact of the matter is We ended up with the most beautiful floors, and finish time was faster than I ever expected. So If you are looking for floors. Don't look any farther. Arizpe Flooring is top notch.

The reason I am now publicly posting a review is because I am done with the waiting. I have waited PATIENTLY for over two months for Arizpe Flooring to come fix the MANY areas of the flooring and cove base that were very poorly installed. I've called several times. They say they're very busy but that someone will be out to come and see what needs to be done. NOTHING! I realize I'm not a big company that could bring them much profit, after all it is just a house but it's my house and I paid a pretty penny for the not so well done flooring. Very disappointed in Arizpe Flooring.

In response to the reply from Arizpe Flooring... Yes the floor was done in a timely manner and I truly appreciated that but that you were unaware that I was unsatisfied with the job is a blatant lie. When I spoke to you, you informed me that you were very busy and I told you that I could wait because my husband was in hospice and quite ill. After his passing on may 24th I called again and asked if you could send someone out to look at what needed to be done. You said Thursday. Thursday came and went. Then it was that you'd send someone out in two weeks. Then I spoke Freddie more than once. Last week I spoke to a young lady and she assured me you'd call. You did not. My floors were put in the first week in May. We are in The middle of July and still no one has been out to look...

I’ve done business with the Arispe’s for many years. Everything from my rental properties and my personal residence to referring them to my own customers (I’m in the pest control business). Last week, the Arispe team came to my personal home to install carpet in the bedrooms and to tile our front and back patios. Reni’s crew were very professional and acted like true gentleman. If you are looking for hardwood , carpet or tile, these guys are #1 in my book. My wife is so happy with the new look in our bedrooms and porches. Happy wife, happy life....
