Went to Into the Blue at lunch time and parking was not an issue, especially if you go around the corner and park in back. Place is clean and neat. Menu is expansive. There are clean restrooms. 11 tables and a high bar eating area. No bar though just soft drinks and some of the best lemonade! It was real pale in color so I thought she had just brought us water but it was very flavorful lemonade. Fresh ice tea. Complimentary chips with a real spicy salsa. Menu has seafood, burgers, Mexican food plus several specials and a large specials board. We had birria tacos and quesadillas both were excellent. The birria was tender and you could tell had been simmered awhile. It was excellent. The birria was shredded and was easy to eat with the excellent dipping sauce. The order came with 4 birria tacos, salsa, dipping sauce and chopped onions and cilantro on the side. The quesadilla was 4 large pieces. This was more than enough food for lunch. You can order sides of beans. Delivery, carry out and dine in available. Did not see high chairs in main floor - just ask for one.

There is nothing extra at this restaurant, just the basics. What you see is exactly what you get. The menu and chow are straightforward and well prepared. This restaurant has been here for a while now. Parking is in the back and semi limited. Our waitress was SPI friendly and understood the menu very well. We've only had breakfast here and the food is always fresh, hot and tasty!! There are many options on this side of the bridge, so they have to be on top of their game! If you are looking for something different. The TexMex breakfast is spicy indeed!! Plotted. Scouts Out.

New place, ~200 yards from well established Joe's Oysters bar. Think of seafood and tex-mex cuisine. Had a lunch there with family twice, very positive experience. The place is clean, service is fast, and food is great. Their guacamole and refried beans could use more salt, but it is nitpicking, really. Recommend.

Amazing All-You-Can-Eat Fish Experience at “Into the Blue”

I recently visited “Into the Blue” and had an incredible all-you-can-eat fried fish experience. The first plate came with generous portions of perfectly fried fish and a side of delicious hush puppies. What sets this place apart is the flexibility—after the first plate, each additional serving is just two pieces, and you can switch up the cooking style to keep things interesting. I ended up enjoying seven pieces in total and left feeling fully satisfied and content.

The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of food. It’s worth noting that the restaurant has moved to a new location across from Los Fresnos High School in a plaza, so they’re no longer in Port Isabel. The seating capacity is a bit limited, so be prepared to wait during busy times, but it’s well worth it.

Overall, I highly recommend “Into the Blue” for anyone looking for a great meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Just bring your appetite and a bit of patience!

They say little hole in the wall restaurants have some of the best food than the big fancy restaurants. Well this little hole in the wall has the best seafood in Port Isabel and probably S Padre! My wife and I were very hungry so we ordered the all you can eat Fish & Shrimp. My wife ordered grilled fish and shrimp in butter and I ordered the fish and shrimp in butter and garlic. We expected small thin fish and maybe popcorn shrimp. Well to our surprise the fish filets were large and thick, shrimp large and butterflyed and everything cooked to Perfection!! Everything was super hot, right off the grill! Some how my wife and I still had room for another serving of 2 more fish filets and 7 more shrimp and we were able to try the blacken fish and shrimp. As expected this time it was awesome again cooked to perfection. Our waitress Mary really did a outstanding job taking care of our needs. After two seving we still managed to try there Mango ice cream which was the topping we needed to finish a...
