There's not much to it, and it's not like a typical park n ride lot which is distinctly sectioned off and has designated parking stalls and handicapped parking. Nope. This is just basically the side of a mountain road at the intersection of Highway 17. Not even a curb or guardrail to prevent rolling over the edge of a fairly steep hill. There's one bright LED streetlight that does a pretty good job of lighting the area, although the shadows cast by swaying tree limbs is a little creepy in the wee hours of the night. Why 4 stars and not 2 or 5? I dunno. Because it's not an ideal park n ride, so not a 5. But I lived near there as a young kid and I stop there often to meet people, adjust a tow load, wee in the bushes, or either get on to Hwy 17 when I come up the backroads from Soquel, or get off Hwy 17 to take the backroads toward Los Gatos. So, freaky fondness for a familiar fork at the Freeway 'cuz I'm a softie for a side stop at a section of...

There is no nearby public transportation, parks or other amenities. Certainly no restroom or portapotty, so reasons to park here are...
