Wow, what a great rock shop. My partner and I run a burgeoning lapidary/jewelry business and were on our way back to Oregon after a jaunt all over Northern California, and decided to swing by Marsha’s, myself half expecting it to be full of imported South American quartz prisms in all hues conceivable or otherwise. To our surprise this place was filled to the brim with excellent material, most of which from the state of California or Oregon, all of which described to us in colorful detail by the owners in between talking to their chickens. Much of the rocks we picked up were material I have either never heard of, or thought was no longer easy to find. These folks are very knowledgeable and have something for rockhounds both new and experienced. I will be coming back the next time I’m rockhounding...

It's like a more Down to Earth Gaumers for lack of better words. The couple who own and run it are very easy going and will work with you on prices that are fair. I do believe they still have a lay away option They are very skilled and know all about rocks and gems and even make most of the jewelry themselves.
