Kids Quest at Coushatta Casino — Local services in Louisiana

Today was the first time that we decided to let our children go to kids quest after many times of coming to Coushatta.

We thought what a fun thing for the kids to try to enjoy.. we did a tour and everything seemed great during the day the kids stayed for an hour and really enjoyed it. The lady that checked us in for a first time let us know that we need to be back within the hour with a 10 minutes grace period before you get charged an extra hour.. check in and out went very smooth.

Later on that evening we promised them after we ate dinner they could go back and enjoy another hour.

At 9:41 they were checked in. Kids Quest not closing until 11:00 this means our children would be there until 10:41 leaving before closing..

After speaking to our children which are 11 and 12 and very vocal and intelligent.

We picked them up and had a very rude encounter with your assistant director. As she continued to clean when we walked up ultimately running more time on our clock as we stand there waiting on our children who are the only children there..

The other teacher was cleaning up nowhere near our children. Nor when arriving did I see the children and saw most of not all the games off. who didn't know where our children were other than they're playing hide and seek. As this is all they can play. At a facility full of games and advertise fun.

We continue to check out and now the time is 10:45 where she states that we have to pay for an extra 15 minutes because we watched her clean up instead of check us out.. where I am very confused at this moment because earlier when we had our first experience we asked all the thorough questions and were told that there was a 10 minute Graces. Nor were we late.. after a debate. And asking to speak to a higher manager she informed me she was the hire manager in the assistant director. With a sense of entitlement in unprofessional attitude.

She did reimbursed this extra fee which was appreciated but felt very hostile when picking up our children for the second time at your facility after having such a great experience that morning this came off across very uncomfortable unpleasant unprofessional and a lot of misinformation that your staff is informing parents that is incorrect.

After receiving our children and on the walk back to the car we asked him about their experience as they were so excited that morning we didn't see the same excitement.

They informed us that the whole hour that they were there they were not allowed to play with any of the video games .. arcade games .. or basketball area .. and most all TVs were turned off and that your teacher and staff were going around and hiding the basketballs and other equipment to play & certain activities.

Our daughter is really sweethearted and there was a other little girl there that made a big mess that our children got yelled at to clean up when they obviously weren't allowed to play with anything as everything was already being picked up and turned off not getting the full experience only allowed to play with things not within their age level cuz they were there for the exciting facility that we thought we were letting them experience with the games the video games arcade games Etc as they are older children.

The two women on the night shift were more obsessed with cleaning up and getting off their shift instead of letting the children and the parents paying for their experience and the facility that you advertise we are completely unsatisfied with this experience and do not recommend this place after this experience of our first day..

On Sunday April 9, 2023 I bought my daughter to Kids Quest like normal. We live in New Orleans and have been coming here since I believe 2018. I have never had one complaint about this place because the staff was nice and my daughter never complained. On Easter Sunday, I went to pick my daughter up at 10pm. She said she was having fun and begged me to let her stay. I informed the young lady that I didn’t want to go over $70.00 she said for me to come back at 12am and I would be fine. I went to the room and took medicine, because I wasn’t feeling good. I mistakenly fell asleep. I received a call at 12:09am asking was I going to come and pick my daughter up. I jumped up and rushed to the Kids Quest and made it there for 12:16am. A young woman named Angel Baptiste tells me that my total is $95.00. I asked her why and she said because I was late. I explained to her that I didn’t know they closed at midnight because usually when we come they r open until 1 or 2am, I’ve never been late since we started and if she could please waive the fee. She very rudely told me no and the rules are the rules. I asked her if I couldn’t pay the amount what is an option and she said she would have to call security on me. I asked for a manager and she said she was the manager. I paid and I was so upset to be treated this way. I understand it was my fault but there was no sympathy to my situation, saying as though I’ve never been late. My children enjoyed their first experience with all the games later that evening we decided to let them go back where the afternoon employees AKA assistant director did not let the children play with any of the video games had all the TVs turned off most of the stations were closed.. making our children clean up after the previous kids messes our children are much older and had just got there and we're punished and treated poorly I would not recommend this place to anyone if the assistant director is on duty I can't wait to speak to Coushatta directly about who they have hired in the child center please do not take your children here they will take your money and then not let your children enjoy all the things that they have told you they offer.. then instead of checking us out when we were there promptly she continued to clean to run our time over then tries to tell us that there is an extra fee for the 4 minutes she didn't decide to check us out this place is absolutely Ludacris we had a great first experience but after this last visit we will not be returning it started out as a great vacation and now we probably...
