HAYRIDE/ “HAUNTED” WALK THROUGH GOERS BEWARE. I grew up in Cape May County, and I know this farmers market is very popular. They have great produce among other things, and around fall it’s really nice to go pick pumpkins etc. HOWEVER, I was extremely , disappointed in the “haunted” experience. Why start with a hayride around the whole farm , at night , with no actors? Just a guy being funny the whole way around. It was a beautiful cool night, I enjoyed that part lol but that’s not really what I expected. Not one jump-scare? He even said be careful cuz there’s gonna be a guy wielding a chainsaw at the end of the hayride. there was no chainsaw. There was no guy. Why? After the pointless hayride, we go to enter the “haunted” barn. the whole barn was decked out. Good job decorating, but none of the actors seemed really into it. They were funny and nice, but it just didn’t hit right. Try field of screams in Lancaster pa, it’s 35 bucks and it’ll knock your socks off. This is really good for kids but not for older folks to get a kick out of with a group. I suggest a walk through the farm with more...

Now owned by on of our local Vinyards, Willow Creek Winery, there has been some upgrades to the store including displays, a coat of paint and an extension off the back of the original farmstand. With the addition of picnic benches and additional parking, it is apparent this will become a tasting and gathering place similar to what has occurred with venues such as Cape May Winery and Beach Plum Farm. This still has a farm feel but looks to be another hotspot in the making. For direct farm to consumer pricing it looks like you may have to travel a bit further. That is if the developers haven't paved over your favorite peach...
Read moreSparsely stocked when we stopped by on a mid-July morning. Bought corn which was huge and sweet, but pricey at $0.75 an ear 👀! Peaches were ok, but they were all were juicy; $1.00 a piece. Sorry guys, but at those prices, I'll take my chances at the local supermarket. No complaints on the produce quality, just the price. I want to support the local farmers, I really do. But I'm not going to get taken advantage of in...
