Antojos — Restaurant in Lower Township

This place is amazing. I came here for the awesome churros for a few years (it helps that the family has El Pueblo a few doors down so you can get great tacos as well in the same trip). I would tell everyone visiting the Cape May area to stop through as well, and I haven't had a single person who visited NOT tell me how much they loved it. I ended up getting married in Cape May in September 2022. We never wanted a wedding cake, because like... nobody actually wants to eat them and they're ridiculously expensive. We approached Jehovanny, the owner/manager at Antojos, about catering our wedding. They ended up coming through with an order for 400 churros, Dulce de Leche, the works. The entire process was super easy, and the guests all loved the churros!

While there's a relative limited selection of ice cream flavors, what we tried (5 flavors) were all very good. The "peanut butter pie" was popular with all three of us in the family. In addition to the ice cream, which is my personal focus, Antojos also offers crepes, churros, Mexican fruit popsicles, and smoothies. My wife and son enjoyed the warm churros quite a bit, and we already know the brand of popsicles on offer, and we'll enjoy those later today. Additionally, the owner seems like a very nice guy. It's obvious from the vibe in the shop. Well worth a visit when you're looking for dessert or a snack.

Update: went back for more. The strawberry and chocolate were both very good, and the vanilla was solid. The cookies and cream was good, but not as good as done...

Had the Best Mango chamoyada and popsicles!!!

June 10 2023 This time we tried different things here. We tried smoothies, Mexican fruit popsicles. The smoothies was average. I did not like it. The popsicles were great. We had watermelon, pinacoloda, coconut. Those were amazing. I loved Pinacolada popsicle. Will try other flavors next time.

August 6 2022 This time also I visited same place to have Mango Chamoyada. It's tempting. I am very much loving it. The place is full of positivity with inspiration quotes. The staff is also friendly.

Dec 18 2021 The Mango chamoyada is the best thing I ever had. It is unique ice cream with sweet and spicy taste with tamarind straw. If you visit this place, try for chamoyada without miss.
