Seems a bit redundant but you think sunset, you think beach, you think what's the big deal? Boy was I wrong, this spot is just PERFECT for a sunset & we lucked out on a gorgeous July evening to witness it! Yes, it gets crowded but the beach is big & there's a fantastic energy & everyone is respectful. An absolute must do when in CM & side note, the gift shop right there is MASSIVE & I happily picked up some really pretty souvenirs!

Open beach with beautiful rounded quartz stones the locals call sunset diamonds. Views of a beautiful beach with a cement WWI boat can be had at the cute seasonal beach bar.

Beautiful drive down to the Fish House where we had a delicious lunch served by friendly waitstaff in a gorgeous setting overlooking the shipwreck and ocean. We will return.

The most PAINFUL beach I have ever been to! There is barely any sand and it is all just sharp rocks and seashells. There is no foot rinse place, so you have to walk with sharp rocks and seashells. I have 38 cuts on my feet and ankles from the sharpness. This is the worst beach I have...
