Cape May Point Park sits in the center of a rotary, at the convergence of seven streets (and just by a few feet two others). Thus, it is circular in nature. Despite its seeming small size, it is quite full of many things that define the classic passive park. There are several circular and semicircular walking paths that circumnavigate the park, numerous benches, an area in the center for running around, and a couple of picnic tables for eating. I noticed a small standing basket for basketball shooting as well. Being just one long block away from the beach, it is possible to get a distant, albeit not so good view of the water, as others have noted. Nonetheless, this park provides a most relaxed atmosphere in the "just get away from the crowd" mode.
