I was a nervous wreck after driving back down the mountain at Shenandoah Mountain national park. I tried parking in a clump of grass...where there was apparently a wide tree trunk hiding underneath, and it scraped the bottom of my car, took off the cover, and unclipped part of my bumper, and it was a Saturday, so I learned that auto repair places are all closed, except for this one. God bless him for picking up the phone and telling us he’d take a look at our car. I fully expected it to cost upwards of $300+, but it was very reasonably priced & he was extremely nice and helpful when informing us what was wrong with the car. I’m traveling from SC and my practically brand new Nissan Maxima decided to give me the scare of my life and start shuttering, slow to accelerate, and almost die on Skyline Drive. Once I was able to cruise safely to our hotel, I called Freezes and they told me to drive over and they’d try to troubleshoot. Of course my car ‘magically’ decided to start acting right, but the gentleman gave me some good advice to help avoid the same situation, advised me to drive around and if it happened again he’d be there to help me and sent me on my way - FREE OF CHARGE. I cannot thank the wonderful men at Freezes for seeing me on a 5 minute notice and for trying to determine the cause of the car issues. Best experience at any shop ever. Went late this afternoon to see if I could get an oil change. My car was in the bay in less than 2 minutes. Everyone was so friendly and very tolerant of my barking dog. The price could not be beat! Just moved here 6 mths. ago so had to go by the reviews I read and Freezes had many positive one. From what I experienced today, they were all very accurate. Going back next week...
