The old location was awesome. The newer location is even MORE awesome. Owners Dave & Tina have an encyclopedic knowledge (and love) of music -- and a true devotion to sharing it.

The store still has the great classic record store decor, but now with more room, more natural lighting and more detailed categories. Albums categorized by genre and alphabetized, so it's super-easy to find what you're looking for. Great deals on 45s. Cassettes. CDs. They also have color vinyl, picture vinyl and assorted music accessories.

Not sure what you're in the mood for? Their laid-back, no-pressure atmosphere allows you to browse to your heart's content -- although, if you need help or suggestions, the dude often there (Uncle Dave) is attentive and happy to assist. Overall, hella-fantastic and highly-recommended. Just visiting the area or in a neighboring county? This store is more than worth the trip.

Great record shop. I was really impressed with the variety of genres, old and new. There is an entire room dedicated to r&b/soul/jazz, and another with a decent selection of rap. While most of the shop seems like the typical "multi decades of rock" selection, there are so many titles I'm not used to seeing. I found a bunch of 80s alternative and a handful of solid punk/metal records too. The prices were excellent -- I typically check against discogs (used), and every record was priced under the average+ shipping at the same condition. I walked out with far less than I wanted to and will 100% go...

Amazing place in Luray, I was tak9ng s9me days off on the area and found this store, it caught my eye and the store is outstanding, wide variety of records, super clean, fresh and organized (not a given at all on tecord stores) lots of natural light that really onvited you to stay and keep finding treasures. And the staff is super knowledgeable and engaging!!!
