AJ'S GRAB N GO, PIZZA & WINGS — Local services in Luthersville

I was in town for a BBQ Competition and it had gotten late and we were looking for a place to eat. So we looked on Google and there it was...AJ'S with a 4.9 rating. So we immediately decided to try them out. Immediately after walking in we found the atmosphere pleasant and upbeat. There were all types of people coming in and out. Everyone looked happy as if they knew that they were coming back for something special. So after my order was pleasantly taken and even made some suggestions that I have never gotten anywhere before I placed my order. I didn't wait long and upon opening the box it was immediately clear why they had a 4.9 rating which a 5.0 could easily be given. Everything was got and delicious. Exceptional even. The desserts were fresh and tasty as well. You could tell everything was made with love. I highly recommend stopping in at AJ's....you won't be disappointed. Food is good, but service continues to decline. When you call in, everyone except “Grandma” seems bothered you called. Tonight I called in for just a pizza and was told 15 minutes. They use paper tickets and no computer orders, so when I showed up no one seemed to know what was going on. I then told them what I ordered so they could check me out.

Because my order wasn’t sitting at the counter I was told it wasn’t ready yet. 30 minutes after I called and 20 minutes after I arrived I went up to the counter to ask how much longer. Asked for my name again and it had been sitting somewhere the whole time just getting cold. Then I was asked “is that what you ordered?” My name was on the box and when I arrived I told them my order again.

I have been waiting for this place to open and it was definitely worth the wait. I ordered hot wings and mozzarella sticks. The wings were meaty and well-sized. They were not breaded (YAY!) and were sufficiently coated in hot sauce without swimming in a greasy pool. The sauce was flavorful with just the right amount of heat and the bleu cheese dressing was very good. The coating on the mozzarella sticks was light and crispy and the marinara sauce complemented them well. I can't wait to try the pizza and sandwiches! I did not order ahead, arrived at a relatively busy time, and my order was still ready in under 15 minutes. And the prices? Completely reasonable....
