I recently brought some jewelry to repair at Baubles Fine Jewelry in Lynnfield, Mass feeling very confident as I have used this jeweler in the past with satisfaction and was dealing directly with the owner, Anthony Sharrio. He also has been my cousin’s jeweler for about 15 years so good, right? Not -- One of the items I gave him to repair was an onyx and 14k gold necklace which needed only to be restrung as it was intact but loose and I feared wearing it, thinking it might fall apart. When the necklace was returned, it was unrecognizable as he had completely redesigned the piece. There was a gold and onyx medallion in the center of the necklace which is no longer there and now, the necklace has an addition of unwanted gold beads, in addition, the perfectly good lock was changed. When I approached him I was sure he would address and fix it. Instead, he accused me of not knowing what I had given him to repair and insisting that I never gave him the necklace as I described. After many unreturned calls and text messages I sent him a picture of me wearing the necklace and asking him to review his video surveillance assuring him that it would be in view of his counter when we conducted business. Again, never a return call nor a text. Do not patronize this business if you are looking to deal with an honest business man or at the very least someone who returns your calls. A honest man would have addressed, corrected or made some type of offer to make things right and keep a repeating customer. I recently went to Baubles on Broadway to begin looking into engagement rings, but planned on shopping around a bit before making a decision. After meeting with Michelle and Tony my plans had completely changed. I was very intimidated by the whole process of purchasing an engagement ring, but it could not have been a better experience.

Michelle showed me ring settings while we waited for Tony to discuss the diamonds, and she made me feel right at home. Tony spent ample time giving me a lesson on diamonds, and engagement rings in general, so I felt much more comfortable with the entire process. I could tell that both of them were extremely knowledgeable and experienced right away, which made me much more confident in my ability to pick out a beautiful ring.

I've since proposed, and my fiancée could not be happier with the ring. She is absolutely in love with every last detail.
