I love Mrs. Iris, her sister and her husband. They run their business as a team and is very helpful and knowledgeable about the decor and florals that they have on hand. When something is not on a shelf that I am looking for they go directly into the back and bring out everything needed in bulk. I'm a business owner and have numerous weddings and events that I plan for so I'm always back and forth up to this store. I have seen them personally help me carry my belongings to the front or if my hands are full there is a shelf at the front of the register that we can put our belongings down and continue to shop which is helpful. There are also signs posted that there is no exchanges or refunds so no one can get confused and knowing that this is a wholesale place why would you want to bring any of these beautiful florals back. However, Iris is understanding and if something is damaged she will replace it if its immediately brought to her attention. There is also a no photos of items sign in the store being that yes their is a great competition up the street due to numerous stores. But I have been to them all and I can most definitely say that Iris has a great selection of floral and decor that no one else has on hand.    Read moreI went to Brilliant Home because I needed faux flowers for a big event and some of the reviews looked promising so I gave it a try. BIG MISTAKE.
I purchased flowers for over $1,500 and I regret it.
I trusted that they did a good job counting the flowers in the store (I didn’t double check which was a mistake ) and when I got home I was missing over 70 flowers. I called the owner and she said I could come by and exchange the flowers that were dirty (because they weren’t clean either) and missing . So I brought back the flowers exactly how I purchased them and the man employee refused to even look at them.
I went to speak to the employee about the purchase and what went wrong and he was very nasty. He had a TERRIBLE attitude and started yelling saying no he can’t help me and I was appalled about how he spoke to me as a customer. Not only that , he followed me outside of the store and harassed me to the car. I couldn’t believe it. Wow.
I want to tell others about my experience because if you’re quiet about it then they will continue to conduct bad business. There are other locations in this same area that sell wholesale flowers for the same pricing so check those places out first...

So, when I saw the negative reviews I was shocked, but when I read their comments, I realized most of these negative comments were people who were not planning a wedding, but were planning their own wedding. Brilliant Home Furnishings is a wholesaler, so yes, they can deny serivce and ask for your business name if you walk through their doors. I appreciate Iris protecting business owners by selling only to businesses and I love the quality of all the products I get.
Unfortunately, I live 1 hour away (wish they were closer) and I appreciate the sales team double checking the quality and quantity of every purchase I make to ensure my order is good to go.
