I got the pleasure of visiting this beautifully adorable garden center today with my preschooler's class field trip. They do a really fun Halloween themed kid tour designed for small children with fun activities including a "spooky" train ride, crafts, corn maze, cider and donuts. I'm an admitted plant addict so I just had to do a little window shopping. Some of the garden decor is absolutely breathtaking and all the plants looked so healthy and large. If only I had more time and space to bring things back with me (lol), but I was riding the school bus. I will definitely be back again. I want to do the full 5 stars, but some of the prices were quite steep.

I stopped by Deneweth's in Macomb randomly on a whim one morning; so glad I did. What a beautiful and large greenhouse. I spent an hour simply wandering their aisles happily. They have helpful displays with decorations and ways to teach you garden and flower plotting, tons of native perennials, hanging annual baskets, plus veggies and herbs galore. Seriously, didn't realize how many different types of tomatoes exist now. When checking out I got to chatting with a young staff member that studied meteorology. She was really kind and full of great tips. Overall I really enjoyed visiting Deneweth's, and I will definitely be stopping by again.

This is my second year visiting Deneweth's since I've moved up here. Ive tried a few other places before but they blow them out of the water. The have a VERY WIDE selection of EVERYTHING. Not only that, their prices easily beat anyone else around. Im a pepper lover and i was able to purchase a flat of 32 plants for just $14. It doesnt have to be all of the same plant either. You can mix and match as well. They do sell some individually and even those are only $3 or $4 compared to anyone else around town. Would highly recommend this place to anybody looking to get their garden and landscaping done.

Fantastic selection at the 22 mile rd store. I cannot speak for their other site/s but assume it to be the same. If there is an annual you want or vegetable plant you can find it here. This is the biggest advantage of shopping at Denewith's. It has also expanded the show section of pre-planted arrangemts and it is fun to explore the central display area. The perennial selection, trees, and shrubs selections are not as large as Weigands or English gardens but it is adequate and I highly recommend going there. The prices are on par with Weigands, English Gardens, etc ut they are higher than smaller garden centers that do not have the pre-planted and other inside marketing but you can rely on their quality. You can also get on their email and mailing list and will get coupons every year that make the pricing much better when you hit $30 or $50 purchase targets. Last but not least their staff is FANTASTIC. Very knowledgeable to help you avoid choices not appropriate for the planting area you have. There is a good chance if you ask their name you will discover you are talking...

I always get my flowers from this store in the spring. I greatly appreciate their curbside pick up this year. I ordered my flowers on April 18th, online for pick up on May 2nd (second day that pick ups were available). My order was not together at pick up. Two items were brought out wrong, and one was missing. I had my order with me, which was needed, or I probably would have gone home with the wrong flowers. One item they did not have, and offered a substitute of a different color. I had planned out my color scheme based on what they were offering online. I did not want the other color. They were offering a refund, I requested a increase in the pot size to complete my flower plan for the summer. They did as requested. Moral of the story, bring your order with you and double check everything...

Wow! I’m such a fan! This place has gorgeous and healthy plants that stretch for miles. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that a couple of my multi-pack annuals had 5 instead of 6 plants. The sixth just had planting soil which you couldn’t really see until they were spaced out on the counter. I asked the cashier if she could give me 17% off of those two packs to make up for the missing plants, and she refused. She told me I could go find different six-packs, but I was out of time and didn’t have time to go all the way back to two different sections of the greenhouse (one was a zinnia and one was a calibrachoa) to find replacements then get back into line and check out. I bought them at full price and left. Next time, I will be more careful and check to make sure the 6-packs...
