We used to be regular customers. Quality went down hill and stop going. Gave them one more chance and that failed miserably. We placed and online order 12:30pm and after no pizza we finally called up there at 2:00pm they were surprised that my order never made it, put me on hold and came back apologize did and said give us 30 minutes. They charged my card no problem but failed to deliver my pizza on time and cold. He goes, onto say please give us another 30mins after that I was ready to cancel and demand full refund. Finally, a-little over 30 mins the delivery vehicle showed up and we weren’t sure who it was as it had no signage, we get the pizzas and they were cold and over cooked. I am not one to complain at all but it was simply uncalled for especially spending what we did that day. I called back up there because the entire situation bothered me from the beginning. The person on the phone did apologize again and then did not put me on hold heard bunch of laughter as he was talking to someone about it. He comes back on and said, we gave you credit. Where is the credit? On the account for the next visit. Well after this experience I told him there is a huge chance we will not be using anymore. He offered another credit back to my card. I still have not seen that credit yet. We the customers make your business thrive and with the poor service and lack of quality pizza equals bad reviews and not so great word of mouth. Such a shame that business owners do not take more pride in their customers and quality. Prices are already high so we do expect a pizza to at least arrive hot and not overcooked. Interesting reading all the reviews and the same pattens are still happening and the owner, replies back we will work on this. Seems nothing is being worked on at all, and you’re taking peoples card information to credit back and never do, if you even are listening and just telling them what they want to hear. Something wrong here. Very frustrating. I think you should do the right thing and give these customers their credit back...
Read moreHonestly, if I could give zero stars I would. Placed my order and the wait time said it would be 30 minutes. I showed up in 30 minutes to pick up my pizza and it wasn’t ready. The lady at the front told me it be an extra 10 minutes I said no problem. I had a seat 20 minutes goes by and I’m still waiting, I overhear the gentleman making pizza state that he made the pizza incorrect and was remaking it. It has now been 40 minutes later, and the pizza is still not ready. Mind you the gentleman making the pizza had very long hair and was not wearing a hairnet or hat. So I continue to wait patiently 50 minutes later my pizza is ready the nice lady at the front apologizes for the long wait time and states they are short staffed. Trust me I get it. I am in the restaurant business and I totally understand where she’s coming from about being short staffed. It happens, especially nowadays. I proceeded to get my pizza and get into my car before I pull off I decide let me just look at my pizza make sure it’s correct. As I open the box, I see the pizza missing toppings I added, then I instantly become angry because it’s now been over an hour, the pizza is already been made twice and it’s still incorrect. I go back inside and let the lady know it has now been two times the pizzas been made and it’s still incorrect and I would just like a refund. She snatches the receipt out of my hand and says it will be back on your card in 24 hours and I nicely told her can I recommend one thing to you and she says “what?” with an attitude. I then tell her I just want to recommend that the gentleman making the pizza should really be wearing some thing to cover his hair and she says well I’m lucky he’s even here because we’re shortstaffed and I repeat myself again.. you know I just simply wanted to recommend that to you she said well I’m not the general manger and also he lost it …meaning his hat or hairnet? Needless to say the pizza was very undercooked made wrong, employees were very unprofessional and I probably will never be ordering...
Read moreFor a carryout pizza parlor, this particular Cloverleaf deserves a round of applause!!!! I ordered a basic small square Supreme. This is my first visit to this joint, although I've been enjoying Cloverleaf pies for decades. They've always been on par with the top tier Motown squares but this place.. .... , better than I expected! Super friendly and really good with the customers, 👍🏽 to Alexis H.!!!! The estimated time for pickup was to the minute, perfectly cooked, an abundance of toppings. ANNNND they take care of first responders and Veterans with 10% discount. I venture to say that they have high respect for their community!!!
Edited to reflect my second visit;;;;
Tonight, I ordered something altogether different than prior. This time, Alex took my order over the phone. I thought I was prepared to place my order, but then I had to change it up completely. Now this would typically be problematic for 1) a busy pizza parlor (phone ringing off the hook) and 2) a young man that was taking orders, cashing out customers and communicating with his coworker at the same time as I called in and completely flipped the script and to further complicate things, I had to ask multiple questions about the menu, yada, yada..... Normally, it would be obvious that I was making his job difficult. Not for this dude! He handled it like a seasoned vet! I'm not sure what the hiring process is at/for this establishment, but it's working!!! Every employee I've interacted with takes pride in their work!!! And yeah, the massive order they put together for us was done to perfection! No, I don't have a vested interest in this restaurant, prompting me to embellish reality! We've all dealt with the service industry. Plummeting into the abyss over the last couple of decades. I just want to share what they're doing here because its refreshing to have such a good experience in a time where bad service seems to be the norm. ...
