I-95 Madison SB Service Plaza — Local services in Madison

The “ Madison” Service Stop on I-95 heading Southbound toward NYC seemed to have quite a few of their food/fast-food places closed, and those that were open appeared short staffed and service was slower than normal, which is why I rated 3-stars because I make this trip on I-95 through CT (both NB & SB) at least 20-25 times a year — So I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about each of the different Service Stops along I-95 in CT.

In general all of the Service Plazas on I-95 through the state of CT are all pretty good service stops (i.e. regardless if getting food, gas, using restroom…etc.). They’re well-kept, and consistently clean for the most part (I’m also speaking in particular about the “Men’s Restroom” regarding...

The I-95N Branford Service Plaza is one of the CLEANEST, friendliest, & nicest Rest Stops, I've ever visited! Now, I travel, quite a bit, and this Plaza happens to be on my way home, from work...The gas prices are always competitive, the Service goes 'way above and beyond my expectations, and this Plaza contains my favorite McDonald's location, in the stste of CT! Plus, there is a State Police Station, located within the Plaza, so it's also the SAFEST place to be, in the event of a Roadside Emergency! The I-95 Madison Southbound Service Plaza is a convenient and well-maintained rest stop for anyone traveling through Connecticut. The plaza has a variety of food options, including fast food chains, a dunkin, McDonald’s and a convenience store. The bathrooms are clean and stocked, which is always a relief during long drives. There’s also plenty of seating and space to stretch your legs if you need a break. The staff is friendly, and the entire area feels safe and well-kept.
