I did their sourdough baking class and while the part where we actually learned to make sourdough was fun it really felt like we ended up paying $65 to listen to an ad. It was framed as learning the health benefits of fermented food but then we barely got any actual health benefits of fermented food and they started to try and pitch us for this vitamin powder going as far as to give us samples and everything. It felt like a multi-level marketing scheme if I'm being honest. At one point one of them said that their mother was able to completely revert her diabetes due to this powder, which I feel is a very misleading and dangerous thing to say. The owner of the shop is very nice and I love the stuff that is sold at this place but this type of event is very off putting to me. I hope the owner will see this and make some changes to the sourdough class...
