Great beach! Not crowded at all! Many amenities including 2 bathhouses with restrooms but outdoor showers only, large extensive picnic area with charcoal grills, 2 playgrounds 1 for the little ones and one for older kids, lifeguards, volley ball nets, basketball court, small skateboard park, bocce ball courts, horse shoe pits, bean bag toss boards, football/soccer feild and Concession stand/Restaurant on the beach! There is a charge for a day pass for non residents of Madison which is at this point in time $25 on the weekdays and $40 on the weekend but this day pass also gives you access to 3 or 4 other beaches in town as well.

A perfect way to spend a summer day! This beach is clean and the people are friendly. There is a great snack shack that offers delicious seafood options, sandwiches, ice cream, drinks and more! They also have a great playground for the little ones if they need a break from the water. Volleyball courts are also available for a good time. We’ve been here several times and have never been disappointed!! Check it out on your next free summer day…you won’t be sorry,

Parking space/fee: call for current fee, BUT FREE AFTER 5PM (We have come here 2x after 5pm and we were not charged any fee Cleanliness: Excellent Mask required: Very few are wearing face masks but social distancing is observed Activities: beach volleyball, basketball, football, playground, swimming, strolling by the beach is sooooo relaxing (it has light brown, medium sand that feels wonderful when you walk barefoot) Enjoyability: Excellent. Scenery: Amazing! Picturesque! Food/Restaurant: M & J Beach Grille and Seafood has delicious food & soft serve ice cream BUT they’re temporarily closed and will reopen in May 2021 Bathroom open: Yes Extras: Has picnic tables and grills, outdoor shower (I only saw...

The "fake life guards" told us to get off the beach because there was lighting in the area? There was nothing in the area , and not even a rain cloud, when we went to get some ice cream the guy was upset because the "fake life guards" kick everyone off the beach as some sort of power trip costing his business to slow down, I asked on of the "fake life guards" what will you do if I go back put there or ignore you? They said call the police! I said ok call them, I drove from Louisiana and was unable to use the beach and there wasn't a cloud in sight. It's sad that the childhood Beach I went to every single year as a child is now a terrible Surf Club with Power Trip...
