There was nothing in the area , and not even a rain cloud, when we went to get some ice cream the guy was upset because the "fake life guards" kick everyone off the beach as some sort of power trip costing his business to slow down, I asked on of the "fake life guards" what will you do if I go back put there or ignore you? They said call the police! I said ok call them, I drove from Louisiana and was unable to use the beach and there wasn't a cloud in sight. Many amenities including 2 bathhouses with restrooms but outdoor showers only, large extensive picnic area with charcoal grills, 2 playgrounds 1 for the little ones and one for older kids, lifeguards, volley ball nets, basketball court, small skateboard park, bocce ball courts, horse shoe pits, bean bag toss boards, football/soccer feild and Concession stand/Restaurant on the beach!
