Edit: Just since I posted this review a few weeks ago, I have had TWO MORE packages mis delivered. Including a package of my medical supplies that cost nearly $1K! And had tracking on the darn package! I also received another package of someone else’s. And when I went to the community mail box yesterday, there were packages sitting on top, just out on the open, that were obviously delivered to other people at the wrong address. This is absolutely ridiculous that these clowns can’t get the deliveries to the right addresses on packages! They seriously just don’t seem to care about it at all.

If I could give this office zero stars I would. I am so sick and tired of the mis delivered mail, mail that never arrives. Or me receiving packages and or mail of other people, with addresses not even close to mine! Today, is the third time for mis delivered packages in less than two weeks!!! I got packages for two people that don’t belong to me. So I drove them directly to the rightful owners. The addresses on them aren’t even remotely close to mine! So how do these people keep getting them so wrong when they literally have to hand scan them?
I was waiting for a package to arrive with a value of $175 this last week. It says it was delivered Saturday. I go check my box. A key for the community box larger size. I open it, it is completely empty. And the one next to mine which has remained locked all weekend is still locked. I suspect my package key is in someone else’s box. Well, the last couple packages (a PlayStation and a Blu Ray set of Stranger Things) ended up somewhere else. Even though tracking shows delivered. And whoever got them never gave them back. I ate the cost on both packages. Because the sender has a tracking that shows delivered. Nearly $500 in loss. And the Post Office doesn’t do anything. Or seem to care. They tell you “if it shows delivered, there is nothing we can do”. Well, yeah, that is the point!!! It shows delivered, because of the incompetent lackies delivering the mail delivering it to the WRONG ADDRESS!
It pisses me off to no end. That the Post Office delivery gets away with delivering to the wrong address and never seem to be held accountable. As you can’t sue them. They have immunity, literally. And the bosses say “they will talk to the carriers”. And yet, the problems continue. In 20 years at my address (so a very well established resident), they have either mis delivered, or not delivered at all, no less than 120 packages, bills or other things I was waiting on. That is at a minimum. The old Magna boss knew me on a first name basis.
I want to be very clear, my one star is related to the delivery from Magna. And the bosses not doing anything to reel in the problem. The counter employees have always been absolutely wonderful. It is a shame that delivery is so dysfunctional. But this is what you get, when you allow systems to go unchecked. Without some recourse when employees are clearly not good at what they do.
UPDATE: a neighbor got my package. After opening it and realizing it wasn’t theirs, they luckily did the right thing and returned it to me. Otherwise, I would be eating another $175 package. Because of the incompetence of the delivery here, from the Magna Post Office.
After reading all the other reviews, similar to mine, I am left feeling there are few options left to deal with this dysfunctional post office. One of them is to get the news out here to cover this story. And if it happens again in the next few months with mis delivery like this, that is EXACTLY what I plan to do! Maybe embarrassing them will get them to take action finally! Enough is enough! Magna deserves...
   Read morethey’re literally the worst. this happened twice. i had a package coming and then it said delivered but it wasn’t even in my mailbox. i sent them an email about my package and they said they’ll have a carrier “double check” it. 2 days later i got a voicemail saying they’ve double checked it and it was in my mailbox. i checked the mailbox and it was not there allt all. i called them and they “THOUGHT” they had it double checked and stuff but there was literally nothing. i sent another report about my issue and they took so long to respond i had to send another one 3 days later. they said my package was lost. like how hard can it be to put the correct package in the correct mailbox? it’s literally a match making thing and it’s literally not the hardest thing in the world. a first grader might be able to do it better tbh. i’m just so pissed. they literally can’t do anything right anymore. they’re not even that precise in what they do. like what do you mean you “thought” you double checked?? you should’ve been more accurate with the info you give and the way you double check. now a package is lost. a package that money was spent on. like yeah maybe $40 seems small but it’s really upsetting if you’re looking forward to something and then it all ends up going bad because of people not doing their job properly and responsibly. it’s so annoying and i’ve been way too patient with everything, i tried my best to calm down but it’s just pissing me off at this point. “have a great day” no. you made my day worse, not worse but my day literally has just been ruined. it’s so stupid everyone who works there is stupid i hope you guys don’t do the same thing to others, but i have the lowest expectations from all of you guys now so you’ll probably make the same mistake a billion more times and never...
   Read moreI just made a phone call the postal office in maybe. I'm not sure if this lady was having a bad day or just is not a nice people person. She really should not be answering the phones. I have not been receiving my mail just junk mail I have very important documents and financial items with has left me desolate I've contacted the company's and they have verified it was mailed to this address but here is the problem there is at least 6 total people here in maybe with the same name other than he Sr and the 3rd but not all mail says Sr Jr or the 3rd now I called simply to ask if there had been a mistake and if there had been a change of address and if my address got involved due to my son has moved to his own place a simple yes or no you would think would be easy and would not in any way jeopardise anyone's mail or be breaking any laws right well she tells me by law she cannot tell me this. I asked why it's a simple yes or no I'm not asking for where it's gone or anything like that I cannot reach my son and it's bitterly left me with out money to live on now going on a month. Then at the last min she said I could come down and show I'd I asked her what for if you cannot devolve this information she said well if you put a change of address in I asked her well that don't make any sense man I'd know if I did that and I'm disabled and terminal no way there if I was to get a ride and catch that corona it's 100 % death sentence. I asked her for her name she refused rose her voice and repeated 3 times have a good day then hung up this was exsacly at 5:03 any suggestions?? Am I out of line for simply asking if there had been a change of address??
